Your business plan should include Business overview: A brief description of your company and where it stands in the marketplace; Sales & marketing plan: The sales & marketing strategies that will be used to target your customers; Operating plan: A description of the physical aspect of your business operations; Human resources plan: Details on your key staff, HR policies & procedures; Action plan: The planned actions of the business over the next 2 to 3 years; Executive summary: A summary of the reasons you are seeking financing, together with a summary of your business operations; Financial appendix: The facts and figures that back up what you say in your plan.

Pat Wallace I tried making a complete biz plan once. I got totally overwhelmed and bored and never did a darn thing with the actual business. Some of us do better when we fly by the seat of our pants, at least until we know it’s something we enjoy and plan to grow. Then we do more planning for scale. 😊

@@debij8313 you need to plan... for example: if you don't have a registered business name, you can't open a business bank account, and thus can not cash cheques from clients made out to your business... There are smaller less overwhelming business plan templates too. When I did my business degree they made us do one that was 600 pages! That's not what I'm suggesting, but a little planning does go a long way. 💕

Hmmm I agree this definitely works if you are purely an online business e.g coaching, influencer, e-commerce but it’s much harder and more nuanced for a traditional B2B brand or other industries that rely more on offline communications and connections. Still very good tidbits and agree on the steps you should do before creating any business, would add in more about your mindset and intention as a business owner

kylee norfleet when I offered the market research, I also gave away a 30 minute Strategy call. In exchange for their time. I had around 10 questions and signed up 8-10 women to do the calls 🤗 I did a poll in my IG story and asked who is interested in a call where I ask questions and in exchange they will get a strategy call🙊 Hope this helps🤗

Love your videos and Channel Vanessa, I have learned a lot which I use for my channel. Here is some feedback, you should have some higher background music in you videos and you pause when you say something important to make people more engage and that you can create a better push in your punchline. Also, you need some small breaks in between your points with some B roll so people can stop and process what you say, otherwise its very tiering to listen to a whole video. Just wanted to give you some feedback, all well intended, keep up the good work!
