Where did this bus spend its life that it has so much rust?! Looking good! I'm looking forward the next video!

It started its life in Texas and then spent time in central Florida. I think the reason it got so rusty in these spots was because of the holes hacked in the roof, because the rest of the frame is fine, but anywhere that water pooled up on the inside rusted through :(

Awesome work on the van. It's kind of scary when I heard you say Klassic Fab isn't producing certain panels anymore. Are they already cutting back on their Bay Window panel production. The panels available are already not abundantly available as the Splitties. Thanks for another cool video!!!

Hell yeah! It's crazy how much progress you are making! I wish I was as motivated as you. Do you have any tips for someone who wants to start making videos? What software do you use to edit? I have a GoPro and a badass computer. I work in IT, so I'm tech savvy, I just get overwhelmed when I start researching where to start lol

I use Sony Vegas to edit. I only use it because it was what I learned to use when I was younger, you can give it a shot. Definitely requires a good PC if you plan on doing 4K videos!

to bad you don't have a sandblaster for the frame . when it's all together the rocker panels fill up with the sand and it causes rust ?

Hey @vangabonders i saw maybe in this video or another you had a panel i believe for the lower track panels that you got a panel from one company and said like oh its from here so you know it will fit ? looking for best sources for panels , i know bus depot and cip1 can be dicey , from what ive seen is alan schofield, klassic fab, any others or what was the one other you mentioned that was premium quality?

Preservation parts/Just Kampers makes good quality panels as well, but I did learn that when it comes to the sliding door track/middle rocker your best bet is going to be Alan Schofield. Of course if Klassic Fab makes the panel you are searching for, buy it there first! Good luck with your restoration!
