Teching with dragon rush gives you a 24f window. Teching with only 1 button gives you an 8f window
@user-wy1et9dk9w4 жыл бұрын
Fascinating. Less reward for mashing, but not exactly punishment for it either. I like it.
@Yellow__134 жыл бұрын
Hmm frame window? Explain? You mean like teaching dragon rush with dragon rush itself gives you 24 frames to react and 1 button gives you 8 frames to react?

NeoNero990 probably you get more negative if you tech with dragon rush and get more frame advantage with 1 button.
@perfectcell20614 жыл бұрын
@@Yellow__13 yes. Teching with dr is much more lenient. Teching with a button is pretty strict timing. If you're playing online, it's pretty hard to tech consistently with a button

@@amircat1009 It means if you use the dragon rush button to tech you have the whole dragon rush animation window (ie 24f) but if you use a button it's only rewarding at the moment the dragon rush is going to touch you (ie 8f)

Hit does benefit from the Vanish - Superdash Change. Its an okay way to extend off of his projectile while standing on the ground. It's really nice Edit: And if you combo into his projectile from a 2H, then vanish superdash into basic combo gives a hard knockdown and sideswitch. Pretty good.

Wouldn't you think have the huge 5L like vegito would be a disadvtange for the dragon rush? It makes it far easier to react to the DR now. A single hit into DR is tough. But that long ass kick sequence basically sets you up to tech it. It gives the opponents mind to recognize the 5L and know that the option could be DR which would make it 10x easier to tech now.

What do you think about using super dash to tech? Being ready to tech with super dash can either get you a confirm or even a break, but it’s also good for being ready to super dash out of grabs too. Is it still better to tech with the dragon rush button over any button? In the chance you misread and your opponent gets a button off, assuming the super dash starts up, it can be really difficult for them to confirm off a low airborne opponent. I guess the simpler question is, are there more pros than cons to teching with super dash? Or is it about the same as regularly teching? Thanks in advance.

What about set up style moves like zamasu can set up his flight and have time to keep combing with ki blast after vanish and move toward you and then you can use heavy version of slash attack and that will give you ground bounce when done from flight and you can actually keep comboing from there if low enough to the ground. Honestly I think theres gonna be a lot of vanish special cancels that are useful in all kinds of cool ways l

Hey Rath, how many of your videos do you think s3 made obsolete? would a person new to the game benefit from them for the most part?
@RathFGC4 жыл бұрын
I think they're all helpful still, but I think the character guides will have sections that can be skipped over (like piccolo snap mixup being gone now). But even then, their general tools, mixups, and defensive options are all still there to learn about. It'll be a bit of a project but I'll probably go back and pin comments to most older videos with which sections can be skipped in season 3...

You can add frame delay as a setting in training mode! But I think the best solution is to be more picky about which matches I accept online. If it isn't at least a 3 bar, I won't accept...

I played this game on launch and stopped pretty quickly because I felt like the game was so shallow. I'm a marvel vs Capcom 3 player so I was pretty disappointed at how limited the gameplay felt. It felt like the combos had no flexibility and like the defensive game was way too linear. Also basically all of the assists sucked ass save for the beams which was super lame. Have my complaints been addressed or is it still basically the same?
@polar89154 жыл бұрын
Girthquake well there are now 3 assists and limit break which is basically weaker X factor that happens when your on your last character and now there are finally better assists than beams

You should throw after every light. 5L, 5LL, 5LLL, 2L, 4LL and j.L. And mediums should be jc on block without Spark. Also vanish and guard cancel should cost 0.5 too. Also there should be chip damage in the game(only supers and m/l version of special moves, chip wouldn't kill). Add those mechanics and you have a much better game.

It depends when they hit the person's reflect and with what button. If i press 2M on the last frame of reflect and don't press anything I'll be shot half the screen away.
@davidburke41014 жыл бұрын
Depends on the character and their next action. If their attack has no forward momentum, they get sent the full distance. If it does, depending on the amount it can cancel most or even all of the pushback (such as Hit). Generally speaking, if the characters attack reaches halfscreen it will also get around reflect. You can just cancel into another reflect however.
