The Last Dragon (sometimes listed as Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon) is a 1985 comedic martial arts film produced by Rupert Hitzig for Berry Gordy and directed by Michael Schultz. The film stars Taimak, Vanity, Julius J. Carry III, Chris Murney, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Faith Prince. Choreography was done by Lester Wilson and Lawrence Leritz.
The Last Dragon takes cues from blaxploitation, writer Venosta admitted his intention: “There really should be a young black kid superhero-type figure who kids can look up to.”
It was released in theaters by TriStar Pictures on March 22, 1985. The film was a financial success despite a mixed reception by critics, and is considered a cult classic.

The group Vanity 6 was created by Prince and recorded the Prince produced "Nasty Girl" for Warner Brothers Records in1982. Vanity was Prince's girlfriend during the early 1980's in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Matthews left the Prince fold before the release of Purple Rain and started her own music and acting career. She later moved the the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Area and eventually turned away from her music and acting career to concentrate on evangelism and become a born again Christian.

I met Vanity aka Denise Matthews in 1979 going on 1980 an she was so gorgeous. She was so fun to be around an we laughed all the time. Vanity could hold her own with the guys an that’s what I loved about her. She wasn’t intimidated by them at all

She never got over Prince according to multiple interviews. I'm glad she found comfort in religion later in life.

While the regular people who feel like them you may never meet, see or encounter and so you never hear of them... But they hid their pain and act like everything is fine, while secretly hating life and themselves and wanting to die. We may be only aware of the celebrities because they are famous...and its their job to still perform and to always keep up an industry persona or image even when they are emotionally not up to it.

Watching some of these interviewers these men disgusting I know that they can't help themselves she is gorgeous she was very gorgeous but how about talking to the woman getting to know what she is about in her talents why comment on her beauty look beyond that she is a gorgeous woman but I'm sure she probably hated that everybody gone over her all the time she said she was never happy in an interview and she became an evangelist and she found God she said she was never happy and interviews that she felt ugly inside she didn't like the way she was living and she was covering up by doing drugs she was not a happy soul and why watching these interviews you could tell she's trying too hard to be happy that's when you know someone isn't may she rest in peace she's with the Lord now.
