Q: What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Dan: Self-obsession. That was my favorite answer he gave because it is absolutely true. I've found that the people who are completely into themselves and/or constantly draw attention to themselves are the ones that are the most miserable. I've seen it time and time again, and it's really sad. I wish the interviewer had asked him to expand on that bc I would have loved to hear him elaborate on it. Ah well.
