Thank you so much 🤗 and welcome to our channel. That’s awesome you are moving to Scotland 🏴. It truly is a wonderful country. Edinburgh is a fantastic city and the epic countryside is only around the corner. To have a van to see it all with just makes it even better. There’s such a great attitude towards vanlife, camping and adventuring there. If there are any questions that we can answers just let us know. Also we’d love to visit NZ one day, it just looks insanely incredible 😍. Thank you so so much for the lovely kind words and hope you like our Scotland content 😎🤙. Have an awesome Friday 🙌

Stunning scenery ❤ desperate to go back to Scotland. However cannot believe Kez has never seen LotR??!?!?! Got to remedy that asap x

It truly is stunning 😍 as we say it always draws us back every time we visit Scotland 🏴. I’m a film buff and work hard on getting Kez to watch all the best movies 🤗. What’s your favourite place in Scotland to visit?

@@TristandKez We've had some amazing adventures on the Isle of Skye but I really want to visit Mull next - the beaches are meant to be insane and it looks very dog friendly (as is mostly everywhere in Scotland). Looking forward to seeing where you're headed next :)

@liv_in_cornwall Isle of Skye is amazing isn’t it. Like most places in Scotland I don’t think we’ve spent enough time there. Mull and a lot of the islands look incredible. The beaches and sea look insane don’t they. There is so so much to explore, I always wonder how much actual time you’d need to see everything 😂. We’ll be sure to bring you along for the ride with where we head next. We can’t wait 🤗🤙

love and hate relationship with Glencoe over many years due to some many long days on the mountains usually winter. However it is stunning to drive and had some great nights at the Kingshouse before it was done up and of course the boots bar in the Clachaig. Enjoy guys

I bet being up on the mountains has been a great experience. Also probably had your fare share of weather conditions to battle with. We’ve only walked up from the Glencoe Mountain Resort to the top of the chair lifts but that was pretty awesome. Hands down it is an epic road to drive. I still remember us driving up for the first time and the expanse of land opening up. A memory that still brings me so much joy to this day. We still have the Boots Bar to visit. Only poked our heads in on this trip but it looks great inside. With our Frenchie he always makes most places a little tricky as he’s not great around people 🤣😂. Thanks for dropping us a comment and hope you’ve had an awesome weekend and Sunday 😎🤙

Yeah we saw the menu and it looked awesome. Also a few whiskies on offer too. Still need to do some distilleries tbh. D&G safely has a new place in our hearts for sure. Also didn’t realise it was you Dave n Jo. Your picture changed and only just realised 🤣🙈. Hope you guys are both well 🤗

Another great video, have you done one showing what you film on and how you edit etc? Some really beautiful shots 😊
@TristandKez2 ай бұрын
Hey Emma, thank you. We have loved Scotland so much so it only seemed right to go to our holy grail. We haven’t done a video on our filming and editing. If you’re interested, we can look at doing one. Always worried that most people won’t like that type of video 🤣. But you and a few others have asked. What would you like to know and we’ll get some ideas going…🤙
@emmawilliams97692 ай бұрын
@@TristandKez aww it was fantastic to see, looks just breathtaking! As for my question, just what equipment you use for different types of shot, how you decide what to film and how you make a lovely seamless video, also sound quality is always good in your videos, I’d love to have a go but only have a phone and no idea how to start 😊 also you guys are so lovely to listen to, it’s like having a chat with friends each week
@TristandKez2 ай бұрын
Thanks Emma, that is so kind of you to say. I feel like we still have a long way to go with how we produce videos but this comment has made our day, so thank you very much 🤗. To help you out at the moment. We use an iPhone to film. We have a DJI mavic air 2 for drone shots. We use CapCut to edit. Used to use premiere pro but found CapCut worked for us just as well for what we’re producing at the moment. Currently we chat in the van about a particular topic and then overlay all the clips we have recorded from where we have been. We feel like we need to up our game massively though and do some better storytelling and filming. Always open to suggestions on improvements or anything new you’d like to see. Will definitely keep in mind about doing an in depth video of all our equipment and how we produce videos each week 🤙

Oooh, love a bit of Glencoe, me! I like that jump-starter / inflator thingy but, FFS, take the bloody plastic film off the front of it! 😂
@TristandKez2 ай бұрын
We felt Glencoe calling us as we do every time we are in Scotland and had to go and visit. We could spend so much time in the area 🤗. Haha it’s an illness I have Ewan. So many things still have the plastic film on them. It drives Kez absolutely nuts 🤪 so you are not alone with your frustrations 🤣
