We've all heard the expression "cut through the noise". There is a lot of "noise" out there on the internet, not to mention over-produced content with horrible music and a noisy annoying host. Van brings us back to the early days of KZbin where is what simple and even soothing to watch. Thanks Van for being one in a million!

I’ve watched all of Van’s video from the first day he posted. This particular episode is in my TOP 5 Van’s KZbin Videos. Pure genius.

It’s difficult to choose a top-5 Van Neistat video, they are all equally edited and storyboarded, I’d watch them all again

"Does this count as therapy or procrastination?" My answer, based on personal similar experiences, is "Both!" Great work capturing and communicating this, Van!

Yes yes yes. This is what I want. I mean don’t get me wrong I love the more “podcasty” episodes or sneak peaks into your day to day, but I think you nailed an effective formula in your first ever episode and this is a return to it. (1) problem. (2) design and build solution (3) reveal and explain solution. It’s so satisfying. Keep it up!!!

Van Neistat is a genius. I don't know why and I'm not sure what that even means. I just know. When you see his filmmaking, you know he's achieving the artist's expression Tolstoy talks about. And then, after watching the video, you are different, you feel changed.

Wow dude, this video came out of nowhere for me. I don’t know who you are at the time of writing this, but you’d better be damn sure I’m gonna dig as deep as possible until I’m certain I know everything I can about you, until I’m satisfied or too tired to continue, and resign myself to the sad truth that the expertise, craftsmanship, and sheer genius that has produced this level of content is something that only comes from a lifetime of experience, and is something I’ll never be able to replicate. I’m only 1:30 in and you’ve probably sent me into a yearlong bout of depression. THAT’S how good this first 90 seconds is, and I thank you for your efforts, from the bottom of my shallow heart. ❤

It's like watching a magician, to me anyway. I'm amazed by Van's talent of seeing a need, visualizing a solution, then fabricating it from common parts. He makes it look so easy. I have close to zero talent with practical stuff like this. I can make a hash out of screwing a lid back on a jar. Which adds to the mesmerizing quality of watching Van at work. Just pure magic.
