Welcome to Vanuary day 22 - a video recorded every day in January, from our van. Today we are enjoying a visit to the town of Coripe in Spain, and walking to see the natural monument of El Chaparro de la Vega - an ancient oak tree.

it's probably a stork nest; they tend to be in really high places like church towers, so they end up in the middle of the villages :)

Hi Holly & Craig! I started following you a few years ago and love your work, Holly. When you said you’ve lost subscribers, I felt I wanted to chime in and say that I’ve never watched more religiously than now. Holly! What a beautiful place! Do you have folding chairs and a table? Because I think it would be lovely to sit outside and draw under those trees and sky. Take advantage of the good weather!!!!!

I just love living vicariously through you all. I love seeing all that sun! Ugh, I miss the sun! It’s very dark and gloomy where I’m at, currently(very much like UK weather). Do you get really inspired by how beautiful everything is on your drives? I know if it was me, my brain would go “I want to paint that, and I want to paint that, and I want to paint that!”

Feeling very lucky to see the sun! I'll admit that I don't really have those thoughts about painting! I just enjoy being out in the world. I'm not much of an artist apparently :D

Thank you for your tree education. A quick Q, not judging, but did I hear right that you “hate” horses at the start of the video?

Oh no - Midge hates horses! Or, they stress him out, not quite sure. The only time I've ever heard Midge bark was when a group of horses rode past him. I think he doesn't like the sound of their hooves maybe? :D

@@hollyexley Thank you so much for explaining, I know you and Craig (my hub also called Craig) are both avid animal lovers so the comment kinda threw me off. I’m enjoying your videos (I have stage 4 breast cancer so my list of KZbin folk I give my time to is now very selective 😉) Maybe this is a chance to say to anyone reading this to do a 2 to 3 fingers booby check in the shower once a month if you can. Keep up the good work Holly and Craig! Can’t wait for the next instalment.
