I have such mixed feelings about this figure (and the design as a whole). Tetsuya Nomura illustrating Hatsune Miku sounds like a dream come true, but when I look at her I just don't really see Miku. Her chest is way too large and her signature twintails just look... weird. Rather than Miku herself she looks like a Miku cosplayer. The details are amazing though and her face looks really sweet. And of course, all the belts are a nice Tetsuya Nomura touch to add to her simple design. To me, she was so close to looking perfect but the design just really didn't service her most iconic features and character as a whole...

I kinda don't like her overall design from what I can see in the promo pictures coz she doesn't look mikuish ...but in hand.. I must admit..he did a pretty good job on this miku

I've never liked realistic versions of Miku. This figure looks amazing, but I still prefer her cartoon version.

xperiaviper I know, but one one good example of an anime Play Arts Kai figure I have is my Kingdom Hearts 2 Roxas figure, it looks perfect, just like he does in the games. I don't know, something about the face just doesn't fit the rest of the design for me.
