My figure is exactly like the one on the box. Small shoulder gaps. Nicely painted, bright colors. The only problem was that her lips are a bit splotchy, but I can fix that easily.

Something you buy for $60 at GameStop, the quality like this is expected and given its size. Many smaller anime figures with articulated joints would cost this much. You'll have to pay over $100 for higher end figures this size and newly released too.

What a bummer, I actually liked the look of this figure when I saw the images, Pity it didn't turn out so good...Play Arts should consider lowering their prices if they are gonna be cheaping out like that, I wouldn't pay more than $30 for this.

I kinda agree that those cut gaps near her shoulder parts seems rushed and way off from the preview box-art. Maybe that's for wide range of shoulder to arm angle poses like Figma does using a soft-material.

Those pak stands are indeed really bad. Adjusting is impractical and the the claw is always loosely pegged in to the arm, so when the figure does loses balance it will eat shit. that's why I leave them in the packaging. Most figures are standing on their own in a glass display, but for some like Lightning returns I just use a 1/6 hot toys stand.

Those gaps at the shoulders make the torso look broken. What on Earth were they thinking? The copyright information stamped on the leg is like something you'd see on a cheap kid's toy. The mark on her face makes it look as though the poor dear has a pimple. How does a virtual pop star get acne?

Widely prefer the old school Play Arts figures just cause it was around $30-50 and the quality wasn't that bad. Only got PAK Venom cause it looks badass. Other than that, not worth the $80-110 or even the ridiculous $200 for certain Tetsuya Nomura figures.

Square Enix needs to either step their game up or be a little more lax with their properties. These Play Art Kai figures do not do Tetsuya Nomura's artwork justice, and it's just made worse by their ludicrous price point and awkward scale. If some how, we one day see Final Fantasy figma, Revoltechs, Figuarts or Nendoroids, then I can die happily.

Dude, I think you got the bootleg one. That Made In China mark at the back of her leg, missed paint job etc. If you watch the other review of this fig, there is no mark on the back of her leg. I hope yours its not a bootleg. IMO I love the face, the color and the hair except her under arm and that cut. By the way, thanks for your awesome and honest review, bro :)

If you want really good Miku figures I would recommend buying figures that are produced by Good Smile, FREEing, Taito, or Max Factory. To prevent bootlegs, buy from sites like amiami and Tokyo Otaku Mode

Hha Why im not surprise with your review for this figure, maybe because I have this figure as well, and im totally agree with you, for the most part this figure looks great, and for relatively big figure, they are a lil bit lazy with the details and I cant get over with the ugly twin tail design. And the execution for it, it looks like a melted green hot glue sigh wish they has some motion and less stiff looking, anyway for the stand I use obitsu 1/6 stand they are quite good for 1/6 scale figures, and its pretty cheap as well.

All play arts kai are usually misses, but they do get a few hits, like The Predator and Halo 2 Master Chief, and the Venom. rest of the releases from 2015 were garbage imo
