Makes sense for Krampus to behave more like a prankster, since he’s Loki’s maternal grandson ( Hel’s the mom, it’s theorized that Ullr is the dad, due to him being a winter god that stays in Niflheim during the warm months ).

@@vdevov Something I came across in a NatGeo magazine article, several yrs back. Looked into it, but it’s such a minute detail that isn’t that well known. However, it seems to be a bit more out there nowadays, while still being minuscule. Makes sense, due to Loki’s offspring, via Angrboda. When I got curious about who Goat Boy’s daddy dearest was, it took some digging and I came across the Ullr theory ( _can’t remember where, cuz it was several yrs ago_ ). Made a lot of sense. ( _EDIT: So, after some looking, there’s a tiny possibility that it could be a modern addition, but I think more evidence is needed, considering it’s within the Germanic folklores and the Nordic section is known to be pretty gappy, despite how much is written down._ )

Yeah. I’m not familiar with Etrigan in the comics however the animated movie universe that spanned like 2010 - 17 he became one of my favorites. Maybe it’s his deep voice but the rhymes he’d say while fighting were FIRE!!! I would live to see him in those movies say “Gone. Gone. Form of man. Arise the demon Etrigan”. I was disappointed when he became so depressed he stopped rhyming.

I can’t blame the heroes. In a lot of ways as we grow up our imagination, and more idealistic views are snuffed out as we have negative experiences/spend time around less imaginative adults. Imagine if you grow up and you find out by some chance Santa is as real as your mom or dad. You’d be freaking pissed. Mom and Dad you lied to me twice! First you lied making me believe in Santa then lied again making me stop believing in him.
