His true form being multiversal is a false premise. It's as powerful as his avatars which he uses occasionally. This form seen in JL incarnate and Infinite Frontier as a whole was an amped version of him. It was explicitly stated that my power now greatly exceeds to what it was before the first crisis event.

This exactly why I prefer DC. Because they actually make you think about how these heroes and villains have repercussions in the real world. The film was a complete package and an epic journey from start to finish. I love the graphic novels used, the properly executed punchlines, and the background of the characters introduced. This movie did a great job showing the sheer power and destructive capabilities of Demi-gods/Superheroes/Heroes/Kryptonians under on Earth. Bro I am insanely in love with this cinematography and combat sequence. Notice how the female characters didn't bash the man's masculinity or invoke any "girl power" nonsense? And still, they came off as a powerful female character in the movie. (WW, Faora, Luis Lane, Mera, HQ and Martha). That's good writing by Goyer, the Nolan brothers, and Zack Snyder. Also brilliant acting by everyone.

I really love how they've managed to use the events of Final Crisis, including Batman being sent back in time after he shot Darkseid, to the Dark Nights Metal series. Of course as you guys mentioned, the Final Crisis ties in to both Boss Darkseid and 7 soldiers. The fact that they've managed to connect everything so well is mind-boggling.

One of the few times as a kid I got a toy that I really liked rather than settle as most often happened, I got a Darkseid action figure and was ecstatic. He had a clear red colors strip on top his head that when held to the light made his eyes glow red. Good days! He was definitely one of those toys that looked so damn awesome it was almost perfection. Bad guy action figures in my opinion were 99.999% cooler than the good guys, something I decided when I was very young but adults never could wrap their mind around why this kid liked the bad guys 😆🤘
