Vata breakfast recipe is warm Ayurvedic oatmeal. To ground vata dosha, warm and moist foods are most ideal during vata season.
This Ayurvedic oatmeal recipe is the perfect morning breakfast to bring you balance, wamrth and nourishment.
Ingredients:
1 cup organic oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 cardamom pod or 1/4 tsp
2 dates, pitted and chopped
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 cups organic milk; i like coconut or macadamia
Add everything to a small pot and mix well.
Put on stove over low heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat once desired consistency.
