I appreciate you so much and you’re free content here! I am unemployed, and unable to go to a practitioner and pay them for help. I’m having a lot of digestive issues for the first time in my life of 60 years old. I have tried desperately to address it myself and have been unable to do so. I am currently doing a khichdi diet for a few days to That, and I have found this channel! I will follow you and hoping that Ayurveda is going to help me get where I need to be :-) bless you

Shoot! Going down the Pitta Dosha rabbit hole and this video was far better than the countless ones already watched. Simple, direct, all the while covering a great deal of info. Great video. Thank you for doing what you do!!

Gosh how to balance vata/pita? I'm very much both.

I’m a vata-kaha dosha, but I think I have excess Pitta. I thought I was peri menousal (dry mouth, fissured tongue, mouth ulcer, dry lips, eczema, scaly and dry legs, dry hair, hair loss and grey hair. Plus an onset of allergies). It’s too much!!

I am Vata too and I love the oil practise but I barely do it because I hate the oily greasy feeling. It is not accceptable for me to oil my body and then do anything. I have fear to destroy my clothing, I would have greasy yogamat, I would wait like more then hour to my body absorb all the oil - but this is obviously immposible with your daily regime/work etc. So I just skip it althought I know it would be great for me but I never found out the option how to live after oil massage :(

Hi, thank you for this video! I just got ditched by my yoga group and thought I'll do some alone then with the help of KZbin... I really liked all the poses but the background noise is terrible. At least I thought so in the begining, at the end it just felt immersive, as if I'm with you in your yoga oasis surrounded by a big busy city or whatever it is!😄

Unrelated question, but would keratosis pilaris be a sign of vata imbalance, and what would one do to alleviate it from an Ayurvedic perspective?

I think "watching the news" should be incorporated into ayurveda academia as "extremely heating".

U can till have dairy like milk but in an ayurvedic way best 1hr before sleep: warmed & adding spices like turmeric, bit of nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, saffron, lavender. I am Pitta-Kapha & i am vegetarian & alcohol-free since 2010. I do drink 1 cacao-milk-coffee in the morning:-) use my protein smoothie with skimmed milk powder, also eat omelettes because i train weights everyday also yoga & meditation, i am 45 y.o. & my health has never been better. My weight training is of functional type outdoors: i use stell clubbells, macebells & kettlebells, burpees, resistance bands & jogging. This type of training keeps physical mobility at optimum range for yogic asana. I used to struggle more combining gym type of training with yoga practice, body would feel way more stiff after those limited range isolated machinery exercises.

You're so full of energy and beautiful, and helpful, i just needed this video! It's getting warmer over here so i was a bit irritated before watching your video but after just hearing the tips my mind and body already feels so much balanced. I love sauna and water bath afterwards, but maybe i should cut it down it a bit or shorten my time spending in sauna and water bath during summer

Just watched your Vata yoga video along with this one. I’m fairly new to Ayurveda and yoga beginner. I’m definitely strong Vata dosha and Pitta as secondary. Just learning about how to balance myself as I’ve been very stressed for a long time and my immune system has been wreaking havoc on my body (skin burning up with welts and itchy hyves). 5th time this happens in a span of 22 years. Need help with finding and learning what can help bring me back to healthy balance.

Hmm I am wondering if the paste / ghee blend helps the vitamin A properties as it is oil soluble. Curious how adding oil to the mixture alters absorption and balance of the blend.
