Have you considered a rolling stool for workign on brakes with the car on the ramp? (it looks tough on the knees). I have one that unfolds to serve as a creeper. Here in the US we have these large plastic buckets that are used for bulk food products. They make good stools as well.

If there was rear quarter damage and bad sill damage I would say use it for parts. Multiecuscan on the BCM will tell you the mileage. Absolutely worth saving.

Clean it up inside and out so you know what general condition it's in. Maybe use a cluster from one of the other cars to check the mileage and make a call on it from there?

It has got to be worth saving Mark, just price up the required bits and pieces and work out that against its possible sale price. If you make five or six hundred it’s got to be worth doing. Looks like it would clean up very well, and you know they are good sellers!! “Love 500” would bite your arm off for the price you brought it for!!

My mate has a old corsa c with the 2litre astra VRX engine in lol its ridiculously fast. Its 450hp haha and smokes AMG 6.2 So did u change the drivers side bearing

Far too good to break Mark. The engines in the 500 are normally bomb proof so miles shouldnt be an issue . Prices they are fetching this will make a great wreck to riches car .
