Would I be right to assume this would be the same principles on the 2.0L CDTi model?

I was thinking it might be cheaper to do the service myself, but, now seeing the tools needed im guessing it will be cheaper to go to a garage no?
@jaysworkshopgarage Жыл бұрын
Not really buying basic tools won’t cost much and will save you money on the long run
@bobbybillionXRP Жыл бұрын
@@jaysworkshopgarage Appreciate the reply Jay, yea I worked it out to around £215 for parts and tools so does work out better, Europarts have a good deal atm on a torque wrench socket set for £50

Whats a better car. In terms of maintenance drive and value and overall. Astra j 1.4? Or a ford focus mk3 1.0 ecoboost

Yeah agree. Coilpack maybe. Last year it would "cough" during acseleration that was not plesent. Top gasket was the problem, but it dosent sound like your issue. Just a though and sharing wisdom 😄

Yes they are ok but have common thermostat housing cracking/melting issues, but once replaced they are good just needs regular service intervals and are better than none turbo vauxhall/opel in my personal experience.
