I think that temperature sensor that you are referring to on the bonnet slam panel is the airbag sensor. External temp sensor is down in the bottom grille

These radiators are designed to be removed from underneath the car ... 45 mins to 1 hour. Fans and other parts stay in car

Mine has AC, so i'm guessing its twice as hard to deal with this job.

takes a tad bit longer but if you remove the radiator fan first and the bottom mounts it should slide out the top still
