Thank you Jonathan, very interesting tutorial. I've been using VW for about 12 years now, ever since I ditched my PC and AutoCAD for a Mac. Day to day I'm detailing structural steelwork mainly in 2D which is boring but pays the rent, so it's aways great fun discovering all the great 3D capabilities of VW. As with all complex software it has its annoying bugs which you learn to work around and I love discovering new things on it. I have never used the triangle tool before I saw this tutorial - and I shall probably never use it again! I prefer poly lines or even just basic lines and combining them into a poly but each to their own. I've only recently used the shell feature in any seriousness, making an accurate(ish) 3D model of our bath (don't ask!) and have never used the Create Contours tool before - not knowing what or why but now I understand! (That must be so useful in boat design?) Also tried your AI tutorial which is great fun but will I ever get the chance to use it for work? Well maybe one day. Keep up the great tutorials, much appreciated.
