To keep the conversation as coherent as it is, you'd need more GPU or TPU memory and processing power than you can get on a desktop computer (after all, the requirements scale quadratically with transformer architectures). I think he has at least manual context cues programmed in, if not the whole conversation scripted.

As far as I know Evil started off as a fork of Neuro's codebase with more lenient filters (she's allowed to use more swear words), but Vedal often used her as a test bed for changes, so the codebase of Evil and Neuro might differ quite a bit now.

Basically that in the first 2-3 months. Evil and Neuro share the same base codes but the details are pretty much different now as they are learning independently from each other. Neuro also get more upgrade and more memory (128GB RAM) while Evil get more of the experimental upgrades and less filters which usually lead to her being more random and acting more freely than Neuro, which also lead to Evil acting more human-like than Neuro.
