I love Vedanta's approach. What I find most profound is it's steadfast roots in real world experience. If you think carefully, this is not playing with words, reframing, or some elaborate story one might misinterpret from a holy book. Nothing can exist without us being aware of it. I've turned this over in my mind thousands of times. Consciousness/Awareness is the fundamental aspect of all experience. We are "That." Is there any possibility we can be anything else? Please let me know your thoughts. I'm amazed, confused, delighted, and scared all at the same time. 🙏

Instead of saying I am not whatever I am aware of, the Vigyani would say just the opposite, he would say I am identified with whatever exists, for whatever exists is in its core, existence itself, with only a superficial layer of name and form superimposed on it, and that his true nature is existence itself and nothing else. So it's not so much as an unreal world appearing in you the consciousness as it is you yourself appearing as this very real world. The world in other words, is your princess of Kashi. Very nice talk by the way. Reality is that which explains the unconceivable, namely quantum mechanics. It would be explicated by the next Bodhisattva that comes along. Everybody, hold a vigil for his coming.

One must in the beginning extricate himself from the known and must recognize his true nature as Existence Consciousness and Infinite and from that perspective if he looks back he sees himself as everything as heis Infinite. As Sri Ramakrishan said after reaching the terrace if one looks back he recognizes the steps are also nothing but same sand and brick as their constituents similar to the terrace. Ontheotherhand if one identifys with the name and form without formal recognition of his true nature there is every danger of loosing himself as his own name and form will get destroyed on one-day or other.
