I use Nature's Way because it's cheaper in my country, in Europe. But use any brand. I take 400mcg every day. Also, 600 mg of vitamin B1 has helped me with chronic fatigue. People with Hashimoto usually have leaky gut, adrenal fatigue, slugish liver, so make sure you heal those too. Do you take medication (levothyroxine) and if yes, how much? I'm curious.

I ate this roti for the first time at a coorgi family's home. I loved it and since then wanted to make it myself. I tried making it once several months ago after watching someone's video. Although it tasted good the rotis were breaking apart. The instructions were not as good as yours. Many months passed. I got to see your video couple of days back. So today I made this for lunch after watching you make. It turned out perfectly! Aside from the 15 minute wait, it is so quick and easy to make. We ate this with Tamarind (unriped green one) thokku. It was delicious. Also could you tell me where to find the wooden tortilla press you used in the video? Thanks again for sharing authentic traditional recipes...I have made some other recipes of yours. All of them turned out great!

So helpful! Thank you for sharing the recipe! Have just one question: do the rotis come out really soft and easy to chew? Because of some medical condition I find it hard to gulp down anything that is even a little dry and/or rough. That's why I depend on rice (I make them as gooey as I can), neer dosas and egg white omelettes for accompaniments. 🙁

mostly this is soft roti, but depends on the rice flour. So some times it is hard. But with sambar it should be ok.

Hi! I am so excited about this recipe and yet I have tried to make it a couple of times and I can’t get it to puff up like yours did. Is it because I’m using brown rice flour? Mine are flat and Fall apart very easily. they don’t get bubbles or puff up, and they don’t stick together well. Are you using glutinous rice flour or just plain rice flour?
@Foodandremedy5 жыл бұрын
I am using regular rice flour. I have used organic brown rice flour from wholefoods, I feel that flour is little coarse , so i feel the consistency of the flower should be fine, and while making the rotis if you feel the dough is hard you can add some water and knead it well.
