Caitlin Shoemaker Hey Caitlin 👋 I'm one if those people who never comments on anything 😝 Just wanted to say I watch all your videos and enjoy them a lot. You're one of my top 2 favourite KZbinrs (along with Sarah's Vegan Kitchen). Also recently started following you on Instagram, thanks for all of your interesting and informative stories there. And the beautiful pics, of course!

Loved the snacks again! What i was wondering about: what do you do with all the food you make? For example all the bars? You seem to eat normal/ moderate amounts in your WIEIAD video’s, so do you keep the rest of them stored in your fridge/freezer? Do you plan your food out ahead or do you still deal with throwing food away sometimes/ do you give it away to people? Do you ever find yourself overeating/binging when you made a batch of something you really love? Sorry i lot of questions, just really curious! Xx

If it's "everyday" food like a Meal Prep video or school lunches, I usually just keep it all in my fridge and eat it throughout the week. I hardly ever have to freeze leftovers, but I do if I need to! I typically eat less desserts/snacks, so I eat some of those, but then share the rest with my roommates and friends in the area :) I HATE throwing food out and wasting food, so I never do that! lol

I love these lunch box video ideas! My goal this year is to eat more healthy by bringing my lunch to school every day. I enjoy your videos and your recipes. I am not vegan but it gives me inspiration as to what to make so I really appreciate that! I would really love more lunch box ideas like pasta, salads, and other hot meals for adults as I am in college and I live at home so I am always lacking inspiration as to what to pack. Thank you!

@@Rachaelxx-d2i I agree. I always buy tahini and it ends up sitting in the cupboard unused :(. I know it's really popular among vegans as a salad dressing (maple syrup, lemon, tahini?). And obviously hummus...

Awesome vid... and thanks for inculding an energy ball vid without the need of a food proessor! Could you tell how long you can store the buckwheat bars? And if it's better to put them in the fridge or not and better in an airtight container or not? I've made muesli bars before but they kinda went to waste after only three days. Thanks a lot!!
@Veganyackattack6 жыл бұрын
With these bars, I found it depends on how much moisture is left after baking. If you're concerned with them being shelf stable, I refrigerated mine and they lasted longer than I'd thought they might! I'd say two weeks for good quality bars. I also travel with some and they lasted a couple of days in my back pack. Hope that helps!

That's not your typical buckwheat. Standard buckwheat is dark brown in color and requires cooking. It is as hard as uncooked raw beans and impossible to chew. Those are buckwheat groats. They are yellow/green in color; crunchy but still chewable. They do not require cooking.
