I was searching the web for a good vegan quiche recipe and of course came across your channel 💕 I've been using a sort of home made version of rice-a-roni for the bottom instead of dough and it really gives the quiche a new yummy angle.

One. I am going to make this 😁 Two I have watched 2 other popular vegan chefs on KZbin, and they make things with ingredients I've never heard of... And one of them made a dish where you would stir the rice for 2 hours. Jana makes real food, with stuff we have on hand or that's easy to get, none of the recipes are difficult, and anyone can do them with a fantastic result. Chef Jana remains the best vegan chef on KZbin. 🤍🤍🤍

I am so grateful Chef Jana you are great. I love the cats; your personality; your energy and your natural way of being..I have learnt soo much from you..I made this for dinner today and wow..it looked exactly like yours. I used chickpeas flour to make my pastry; I sauteed the onion, with the mushroom and spinach then added the tofu mixture. My husband loved it too....I am soo pleased; it tasted perfect. God bless

I used tofu to make a cheesecake. It was so good and cheaper than cashew. Plus we have nut allergies. I'm so thankful for tofu. Your food always looks so good 😋

The quiche is actually French from the Lorraine region in France where people speak a patois close to German. Lothringer is actually Lorraine in patois. That's why we refer to the Quiche Lorraine. But keep in mind that Lorraine went back and forth several times between France and Germany. Nice recipe. Thanks.

Hi! It's the first video from you that watched and I liked the way you speak and the receipt. I just made the quiche and it's delicious! The crust didn't turn out great, I should have make it thinner for my smaller tray but the taste is amazing. I will try again with longer time in the over for the crust and thinner as well. Thank you!!

Its amazing you look so good being vegan.people on meat dont look like you.i must admit i am not fully vegan but i will choose vegan over meat if its good enough.you dont have to worry about food poisoning as much n dropping down with heart problems n ,it gives you more a sense of accomplishment and independence in its creativity and actually normalcy i would say because its really how things are meant to be n not the other way around as many things in life seem to be.

What's the best flour to use if you want to go gluten free? Or if you use wholemeal flour do you just follow the same way as you did for this or do you need to alter it in any way?

hi there chef! what happens if i use normal yeast instead of the nutritional yeast?
@beckbabej2 жыл бұрын
Don't do that! Nutritional yeast is not like regular yeast, it's more like a seasoning with a cheesi-sh flavor. Unlike regular yeast it does not need to be cooked, and has nothing to do with making things rise. It's often sold in bulk bins if you just want to try a small amount first.
