Why isn't your logo using the Vietnamese flag? - Actually I use the South Vietnam flag because it represents Viet Kieu (Vietnamese immigrants after the fall of Saigon), my parents were both boat refugees before immigrating to Canada. My logo combines two parts of my identity: Maple leaf because I'm Canadian, and the South Vietnam flag because I'm Vietnamese :)

So I made this tonight. Cut the recipe in half. It was amazing! The hubs is not plant based but loved it! He said it was the best vegan meal I’ve ever made!!🥳

*psst* when making stuffed shells, lasagna, or manicotti there is no need to preboil your noodles. Add 1 1/2 cup water to your sauce and cover with foil. It will take longer to cook, but, especially with manicotti, so much easier.

It's so crazy that you posted this. I made your lasagna recipe for my family when I visited for yule and they all loved it! Even the meatiest of meat eaters. lol I've been craving it ever since and bought ingredients two days ago to meal prep another batch for my husband and myself. This look very similar but without the meat crumbles in the sauce (which I suppose you could add if you wanted). Anyway..anyone contemplating trying this..do it!!! The ricotta is so good and it makes it all so creamy and tasty. Man...I need to bake that lasagna soon. Should't have watched this hungry. lol ;)

I haven't mentioned this yet, but black is your color, Lisa. You look stunning in it, especially with a red-toned make-up. OK, shallow shit over with: I had forgotten how much I loved stuff shells when I was younger until I made some with leftover pizza prep--tofu and sauce--a couple of months ago, when I unexpectedly found jumbo pasta shells, which are hard to find here. I have been looking for other recipes for future pasta shell finds, and this looks like exactly what I need, so TFP : )

I love Stuffed Shells. In the summer i make them more as a Salad, creamy & chill...In the Winter, creamy & warm/hot. Lately I've been using tofu, rather than cashew cream, because it's easier to fool omnivores into actually eating tofu! I know, my bad. I like your recipe very much...

I like the way to pronunce italian... pasta choice was good, just some advice from Italy to cook pasta, first boil the water, then you put the salt, then when the water boils again, you put the pasta. Anyway good job! Brava!

The tofu ricotta would work in a lasagne, I suspect? I say this as I have lasagne pasta but no shells.

Haha yeah this is pretty much my lasagna recipe in shell form. You could roll up lasagna and kind of portion it like shells

@@Thevietvegan have you ever made vegan dessert lasagne? Apple puree with raisins for the meat, vegan custard as the bechemel sauce, green lasagne pasta and coconut as the cheese on top. Weirdly delicious.

Have you ever tried this kind of recipe with like, mashed white beans instead of tofu? I find I don't tend to like the taste that lingers when tofu is in recipes but I'm hesitant to try swapping such a main ingredient 😔
