Mostly Vegas is sold under value (unfortunately) ... Now finally a tutorial that really shows what Vegas can do! It needs much more of this! Still an advice to the vegas development team. Audio mixing and audio effects need to be refreshed. And: where is the AAF export??

Would appreciate if you talked a bit slower, when telling us details. The Auto features are good as a basic set up to save time or for promos, but we still have to edit manually to choose where we want certain scenes to match with audio, or they wont make sense when randomly auto edited

Click on the settings cogwheel at the bottom right of the youtube screen. You can slow the video down. It doesnt change the pitch. You can make it look like he is talking at a normal speed.

Smart Mask is so close to being able to get rid of timestamp bars. But it needs an effect to blend in from the neighboring pixels. Maybe Vegas 23 will have tthat?

I really wish we could have custom resolutions and framerates on the new welcome screen. I Use 4096x2160 at 23.976fps for most projects but there is only 3840x2160 or Scope.

Appreciate your video. It was helpful. Which GPU are you using, considering you can play back video in Full (Best)? I typically edit 4K 60fps and it struggles playing back at Good (Half) even with proxy files.

Based on the other comments, I also wanted to just say that everyone thinks they're a critic these days....I'm looking forward to the other commenters coverage of the new features in Vegas and pray they don't take over 2 hours to explain them. Yeah, this guy spoke fast and there was room for improvement, but clearly some other "seasoned" video editing veterans think they can do better. Put up or shut up.

2:51 what if you wanted to DELETE "a word"? it's keeping a big BLANK SPACE that we can't delete? :( -- Sometimes you'd want to correct the subtitles without croping the video out, currently it feels like that is lacking? This is bad when someone is speaking stutter and says " I, i think" or repeat words like "you know".. in Text Based editing it cuts it out, in SRT or Transcript it gives a big BLANK SPACE requiring manual editing for every single one, or unfortunately export the .SRT edit it outside of vegas (counters the point)

upgrade your cpu and your gpu...and if you arent using 32gb of ram..you should be. If these crashes arent happening to everyone.That's a you issue...not a Magix issue. 32gb of ram is the minimum i would use with software this powerful. If you are crashing during rendering it sounds like your system is bogging out and running on steam..Your video card is screaming " WHyyyyyyyyyyyy?!" :p

@@ISOLATIONHUB I have vegas 18 not 22. Only watched because not many videos about vegas. I use 18 with 16gb ram. All more ram would do is speed up renders. I have a 8 core cpu is that not powerful enough?

Hi there, there are a couple AI features available offline such as AI Dehaze, AI sharpen, AI style transfer e.t.c while some AI features are cloud based.

Please slow down when your talking, could not follow this at all but it looks like great information. Text to Voice does not work with the new version. My audio file plays on the computer BUT in VEGAS it is all scrambled and screeched. Very disappointed!
