I disagree with Chi Chi blaming Goku for putting Gohan in danger. At the start of the show, Goku was minding his own business and Raditz was the one who started causing problems then Nappa and Vegeta came soon after hearing about the dragon balls. Either way, Gohan was always going to be in danger. If anything, it would make more sense for Chi Chi to be mad at Piccolo since he's the one who kidnapped Gohan and forced him to train and fight the saiyans. When Goku arrived he told Gohan to get far away from the battlefield.

Not exactly. Piccolo jr was not as evil as his father was and the only evil thing he did was almost kill Goku in the Tournament. His relationship with Gohan awakened something he didn't want to admit that he was never really evil.

What the Dragon Balls can Grant depends on a few factors, namely how powerful the person who made them was and how many wishes the Dragon will grant.

We're never told how long it takes senzu beans to grow. In og dragon ball korin has huge pots full of them back when they were just a super food. In Z they became an instant heal and are inexplicably now always in short supply, just enough to serve the plot at the time they pick them up. There's a lot of things like that throughout the franchise, usually a safe assumption the original writer forgot or retconned it.

Kai has a lot of vocal insert songs. For the first half of the series they dubbed lots of them into English. I believe Brina Palencia sings “Over the Star” here as they pick up the bodies.

It's also just that Gohan is way stronger when he actually focuses his energy. Vegeta was going to kill Gohan anyway, it's way better to get him to fight back.

Piccolo is the only one that was killed by the saiyans, Yamaha died to a saibamen, chiaotzu blew himself up and Tien died from exhaustion due to him burning away all his energy on the tri -beam.

While I am single and not a parent, but I understand where Chichi is coming from. But she needs to realize that the world is at stakes so Piccolo have to take him in and trains him the ways of the Demon Clan. And blaming on Goku for putting their son in danger is just gaslighting to make her feel justified. Personally I prefer the kind hearted Chichi in the OG Dragon Ball over a angry housewife who bitches for no reason.

I'm a parent of three, and I agree that you probably should give up your kid for the entire planet, especially if it's like they're going to die anyways, but if it's not a situation where they're going to die along with the whole planet and it's like your kid or the rest of the planet, despite the fact that I know you should give up your kid, I don't know how many parents actually could. I'm not positive that I could.

I don’t know a single good parent that could. I’m a nanny, so I have worked with a lot of different types of parents and even the parents that seem to want nothing to do with their kid would do anything they could to keep them safe.

I really don't like Sean Schemmel as a voice actor tbh..I think Peter Kelamis is a better Goku and he sounds closer to the Japanese voice.
