This fight is a good example of how much Vegeta has grown as a character throughout Super, and a fantastic contrast to his Majin Vegeta's arc back in Z. Here, Toppo casts aside his pride, his own principle and belief in justice in order to become a God of Destruction. He gains more powers by despising everything he has been fought for, just like how Vegeta willingly let Babidi control his mind, risking everyone's lives and even his family's to become more powerful, to become Majin Vegeta for his own selfish desire: Settling with Goku in one final battle. But here, this is a Vegeta that has been through everything. He learns the value of trust, caring and family without casting aside his own pride. He has something to protect, a purpose for him to continue stand on his feet and ultimately, defeat a God of Destruction.

People forget how fast db characters are. Most fights are slowed down. This Tournament is 48 mins so each fight is 2 mins max but slowed down so we can see them. Plus a lot of it is talking so it's even less.

If you listen closer to how Jiren said that it wasn’t suprising that Toppo was eliminated. Jiren never cared about him or any of the other pride trooper’s eliminations. He reacts to Toppo’s elimination like he already knew that was his outcome, Jiren knew that Toppo would be knocked out eventually. And that shows Jiren’s disrepectfulness not just to other fighters, but to his own teammates as well

This is my favorite moment. Something I forget about with this attack, as well as the final flash we see. Our Saiyan's can access their life energy pool as well as their normal Ki, and these days they now also have their God Ki. All 3 are separate "types" of energy within their bodies they can access for power. The Final Flash is vegetas main attack to use all energy in his energy pool in a single attack. Final Explosion, vegeta taps into ALL forms of energy in his body including his life energy which is more "pure" and "raw" if you wanna use that term so in effect, Final Explosion is truly Vegetas strongest technique which explains the "suicidal" aspect of the attack

Its amazing how vegeta sticks to his principles no matter what, even when the whole world tells him he's wrong. He's resolve makes him more and more admirable. He'd rather die protecting his pride and principles than give them up to win. If it doesn't teach you anything nothing will. There's no point in living without pride.

It bugged me that Jiren calls Toppo's performance pathetic even though he could've contributed a lot more in the tournament. Last I recall, Jiren watched Dyspo almost get eliminated by Hit. And after eliminating Hit, Jiren does nothing while 4 universes get eliminated. Plus I think it was pathetic that Belmod didn't give Toppo any respect.

Well the energy of destruction’s strength depends on its user! Since Toppo is a candidate for the G.O.D, so his hakai is still not as powerful as beerus but since the opponent is more powerful than the hakai user, he can overpower the hakai
