They've had so long to correct this issue -_- Does anyone know if they did on newer models of Priuses? I love my car but things like this make you lose faith in Toyota a bit.

Hi from France. Got water in my 12v battery compartment coming from the top of the trunk. I noticed the water seeps into the foam on the top right side of the trunk then flows drop by drop into the 12v compartment. Error codes P0AC0, P0AC1 and sometimes P0A90 readen with Dr Prius app. My dealership changed the inverter. Problem is still here. Dr Prius App says my Hybrid Battery is fine. I should check all the water problems and seal it... with my garden hose maybe. My Prius drove fine until I wash it 2 weeks after buying it. The next day Christmas tree happened. Now I hope my hybrid ECU isn't dead because of humidity. It's been 6 months now that I'm stuck with these error codes and my car won't run in electric mode.

I solved it. My problem was the Battery Current Sensor - Toyota Part No.: G4283-47030(www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~sensor~battery~current~g4283-47030.html). I had to clean the copper plates of the HV Battery too because a lot of oxydation was there. To clean copper plates, put in in boiling water then add salt and white vinegar. Wait few minutes and then rinse with water. Reassemble the copper plates once they are completely dry. If necessary rub them with the green side of a sponge.

I did this but still leaks

A repeat of all the other Prius II leak videos. I have water ingress as described this and all the videos. But the areas implicated as a problem by all the videos show no signs of cracking. The paint finish is still filling all the seams. No visible cracking at all.

Did you try sealing the top of the rear lights? Also any update on if you were able to find a fix?
@blinkstudio8 ай бұрын
@@zwee4613 I can't believe the huge gap between rear light mouldings and the rainwater channel is a design mistake, I'm sure it's designed for water to go behind there and come out below. I tried sealing one side at this point and poured water down the channels on both sides. The disruption to the draining caused by sealing across the top of the back lights doesn't seem right. In my case I think I had an issue with water getting in through some tiny damage to the bodywork on the rear wheel arch where I had bumped the car a while back. A small piece of duct tape fixed that.

Yeah mine has a pretty big gap as well. Getting the stuff to hopefully fix the leak today. Wish me luck haha
