The connection quality in PvP has been terrible. The number of times I have melee'd an enemy and they die three seconds later has increased dramatically over the past few weeks.

I don’t play destiny pvp at this point for the hardcore gunplay focus but more for the straight up goofy stuff I can do, after all it’s really fun to do so but abreyant leaps spam final warning trinity ghoul/gifted conviction combos stacylock existing even for the hyper casual that I am is a bit much and trials should be the place for changes to take affect

What’s you opinion on the newest igneous hammer. The newer one has deterministic recoil and I never even noticed it til lately but at 95 it pulls hard to the left and 100 is pretty much vertical. Do you use counter balance or recoil barrels on the newer igneous or don’t think it matters much for a semi auto weapon? Thanks.

The deterministic recoil isn't as big of a deal on cannons. Previously, I would have said the old one was superior (you can see my Iggy review for that) just due to having better overall perks that leaned more into it being a stat monster. But since the changes to guardian health in pvp, and the abysmal mechanic that is resilience gating, the new one is better purely due to it having precision instrument, since PI bumps the 2 crit 1 body resilience gate from tier 7 resil to tier 9, and it lets you 3 tap through an overshield. You can check my old review if you want an in depth guide to rolls. It was made before the changes to guardian health but the only thing I would change on my ideal roll would be precision instrument instead of opening shot or moving target. Igenous is also still the best weapon in Trials for the current sandbox, with Messenger being a close second.

Yeah I have pretty much every roll on the new one and my favourite one is moving target with fragile focus because everything else landed perfectly for the roll. 80 range so 100 with ff and 72 stability 40 handling but i use my half assed encore precision instrument one for the reasons you said. Hopefully they just make them all 2 crit one body again so you don’t have to use a busted perk just to make the viable.
