Thank you, someone has finally put up a tutorial that a lot of us first-time GPS users need. You got me up the learning curve way faster than just fiddling around with the unit on my own.

it was easy to follow, pace was good, & graphics really helped. This is the best video I came across to figure out how to use the Edge 840's features. Good stuff - keep more tips coming!!

Very helpful and efficient tutorial, thank you. The 840 is my first bike computer and it's a tad daunting. I couldn't find, however, the tutorial about data screen setup with the Connect app.

Thank you so much!!! This was fuckin' awesome!!! My new 840 arrived an hour ago and now it's damn near ready to go. I simply need to integrate the di2 and HRM. I had a Karoo 2 that was just 16 months old.... and it died. Best thing that has happened for that thing cause I absolutely hated it!!! 😎

Thanks for the video, exactly what I was looking for! Could you get somewhat the same level of costumization with the 540 using the buttons?

6:15 I like to have the map and five (means six) data fields at the same time visible (speed, distance, RPM, heartbeats, power). My Wahoo Roam V1 can do this easily, sadly I lost it and now have to buy a new computer. On the Roam (V1 and V2) tha map is big enough and the data fields are rather small, so this works perfectly and I never have to switch to another side while biking. That's what I want. How many data fields can I add to the map and will they get resized a bit so that the map still remains big enough, meaning half screen sized?

Nice, can you do that in slow mo as I just got my first Garmin. The 840 seems confusing but I think this will definitely help

I hated this thing after four rides. Crazy complex to set up. Terrible UI Screen reflective in sunlight. Yes, on a bike computer! New functionality would come on out of nowhere while riding that I didn't want and didn't ask for. Would stop collecting data while riding or disconnect from Di2. Constantly bugging me to login to social media. Does Garmin collect and sell your data? I finally got some peace by disconnecting it and putting in my jersey back pocket while riding. I can't wait to return this thing. I will probably try the Wahoo although my Apple Watch Ultra is enough for now.

why cant i reduce the size of that giant mtn image profile on the climbpro (just an option ffs). what a waste of screen space! my eyes suck and i want the 'ttl ascent' and 'asc remain' both larger. i also might want 0 (zero) fields on this but garmin has decided i must choose a min. of two (at the bottom). why??? #garminisstillsuckingin2023
