I sware people will avoid it on purpose just cause it's him which sucks. They'll just see the title and say he bs no matter what was said or shown. It doesn't matter that he brought paper work/proof on that podcast cause people won't watch to begin with. It was such a good sit down interview where he did not hide from anything that happened, the good and the bad

Considering that the person who made the allegations against Patrick never filed charges, disappeared from the internet after making tremendous accusations and never acknowledged the inconsistencies in his own accusations and that he was literally not asking for justice but for Patrick to be removed from everything, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Much respect to The Dynasty for having the balls to let Patrick wrestle for them. I understand where Terra Calaway is coming from, but I suppose she still has a long way to go to understand that just as there are real victims, there are false victims. One more reason why I believe Janel Grant much more than the guy who accused Patrick. Janel knows she has more than enough evidence and genuinely wants Vince to pay the consequences for his actions. As far as I'm concerned personally, the Twitter guy just wanted to cancel Patrick and he got away with it.

Thing is, the whole Velveteen Dream story skirt around some very serious topics. While one can easily say that someone who commited sexual assault needs to be villified, yet one can also make the case for someone deserving a second chance. As a community, how long should we condemn someone for past actions and when does someone deserve a second chance? And what does someone need to do to get a second chance? All of these are questions that can only be answered on a personal level. And those answers will differ which each person answering them. Thats what makes such a volatile topic. Especially when allot of people on the internet think that their answer to those questions are "the right answers".

The return of Patrick Clark (Velveteen Dream) was incredible & I'm personally not mad about it. The investigations stated that nothing was found & it seems like it was just a couple of kids that got upset that he stopped giving them advice. Patrick was never imprisoned or ordered to court for the accusations, he lost his dream job, & he left the ring for over 3 years. I think with all that being said, he has a right to make a return, but at the same time people have a right to disagree if they choose because unfortunately an accusation does damage to your name whether you're innocent or guilty.

There is nothing controversial about the velveteen's return. He hasn't been charged, he hasn't been convicted. He explained himself to the best of his ability. He is allowed to move on. Y'all (the IWC not WrestleTalk) just want a head on a platter. Stop. Do better. When everyone is already guilty without proper evidence, it diminishes those stories that actually have proof. Be responsible

I hate todays world, it use to be innocent until proven guilty but now its guilty until proven guilty, doesn't matter if everything gets investigated and dropped. This comment is more of a general statement on our current world than just defending one person, no one is perfect but I just hate how social media and accusations are used to destroy people's lives rather than just reporting it to police.

Just wanna say, met Luke last night at the RevPro event, super nice to meet him and have a little chat about Scene Queen! As for the V-Dream situation... he's got a hill to climb if he wants any redemption but even then, I think its clear the industry doesn't want him redeemed, they want him gone. Time will tell what happens next

2003 Heel Rock >>>>>> 2024 Heel Rock. Don't get me wrong i think Rock going heel is the right decision but the 2003 version is so much better in promos compared to this Rock. It just feels he is shackled because of the times, he only insulted the crowd but 2003 Rock would have eviscerated everyone.

Might be controversial to say: But I think Patrick derverse another chance as much as any other wrestler whos been through troubling time. Edit: Im under the assumption hes innocent since he's not been charged, one of the people said they made it up and hes outwardly denied it all the way through.

apologies if it’s been covered and i’ve missed it, but i believe if the allegations made towards dream were covered on the news here, i believe it’s only fair that his defence is also covered. The CVV interview has totally changed a lot of my perspective and i feel not enough people are aware of the interview or have given it the chance i feel it deserves.

I watched Velveteen's interview with CVV and I decided to give him another shot. People need to understand that at times with situations like this, you need to hear both sides of the story. But of course, in the age of social media, no one bothers to hear the other side and just completely ignores the response. Sure some responses may be bullshit but some aren't and it doesn't hurt to sit down and listen

It seems that everyone keeps forgetting that innocent until proven guilty is supposed to be how it works, including many female wrestlers. Dream was not convicted so how is that putting other wrestlers safety at risk in the locker room? Also, Vince McMahon is also still innocent until proven guilty.

I understand the Patrick Clark controversy. He'll never be innocent in the court of public opinion. He was never charged, the investigation came up nothing and still people crap on the guy. In my mind, he's innocent and I will not argue with those who think differently. To each their own. Everyone deserves a second chance at life and I'm glad he got one. He attempted to clear his name on Van Vilet and I wish the best for him.
