It looks to me like some of those "camps" are quite elaborate and have been there for a while. Here's an idea: I'm pretty sure the cops regularly patrol those areas. Why not prevent them from setting up in the first place? Why ignore the problem until you have a whole community of homeless?
@stillnotwoke4 ай бұрын
That place was a total mess during COVID, the cops were limited in how they could remove these bums. Once the COVID scare subsided, the city moved in and hauled away TONS of trash and moved the bums out. Now, it's just straggler, transient bums that set up overnight, and get cleaned out in the morning, it's as simple as that.
@imjustsayin65624 ай бұрын
It's like musical tents for the mentally insane on Venice Beach. Every Friday they have to move just like the bathrooms. They clean every Friday and they go away for a while. As long as people feel they can sleep in tents anywhere they like with no consequences it will continue. Freedom doesn't mean being free to disturb and disrupt the lives of others. I just cannot believe the verbal abuse and disrespect police and park rangers accept from these people.
