Kate I love how real your videos. I love the kids talking, the house is cozy and relatable, I love that it is a working homestead. You do a fantastic job with these videos. Keep up the good work!

Yummy egg yolks when I have my eggs baking on a toast I separate my egg weights from my egg yolks leave very little egg white in with my egg yolks because that's what I like to eat and then I cook up the rest of the egg white and feed it back to the chickens

I LOVE my sonshine dehydrator! I was so glad I purchased it. I’d never had one before. I had been searching for a while. Landed on this one from another homestead channel I watch and have been very happy with it. Glad I held out and bought it. You’re going to be very pleased you decided to try it.

We keep our dehydrator in the garage because it's loud and it adds heat to our house in the summer (which is NO good). Goodness knows I forget about it ALL the time. Lol. So I feel you there.

This Longdon Sunshine dehydrator can work quietly not loud at all. You need to change a new one😉

I hope that you are all well now. Wood cool stoves are amazing. In 2021 my husband ordered an amish made "Kitchen Queen Grand Comfort" that arrived in early 2022. We have been loving it so much. 😊

Kate, I enjoy your videos so much. And also your reels on Facebook. I would love to see a morning of chores and homeschool. We got a cow this year and I still haven't figured the best schedule. I have 3 children 7,6 and 3. Do I just need to be ok with starting school later? I don't want to be doing all chores so early, we have a bottle calf and chickens and milking right now. How do you blend both? Thanks for a great video!

Carolyn from homesteading family places a little bit of glycerin in her fruit leather which gives it that wonderful flexibility. Worth a try?

Kate, I love you and your channel. I love your instructional videos. Your voice is soothing. What I do NOT love, (and perhaps you could use this friendly criticism to make your channel even better? ) is overly loud children. When I’m trying to learn and I hear Rowan or Amos either playing or screaming in a childish fit (like when he wanted to stir the granola in this video) I find it extremely distracting and upsetting. I usually click off your video when this happens, and is the ONLY reason I haven’t bought any of your courses. I know you are trying to show real life, but perhaps you could split your focus and do “real life” videos with kids and instructional videos without them? Or voice-over if it’s unavoidable? I know that there are a lot of others who think the same. This is your livelihood and I hope you take this in a positive manner.
