I'm more concerned with the whole limited edition thing than the price. It's not fair for the people who didn't yet have the money, this among many other limited edition vehicles being their dream vehicle, only to never get it, meanwhile collectors let them sit in the garage as mere eye candy...

@@avxy3632 I mean it's a Raptor. I can understand the limited edition part. But its Texas very little of those will "sit" in a collection. Maybe you can buy a used one from a dealer down the line if you want one. They also don't work on certain vehicles after a certain time period unless there are special circumstances. I believe they generally do vehicles 5 years old or older vehicles with very low miles. Also doesn't mean you can't have another shop build the exact same truck.

I would love to see this same powertrain in a 2020 f150 regular cab shortbed. Basically a lightning but better. Ford and dodge and Chevy should start making performance trucks with the regular cab shortbeds. Feels like there missing a big part of the market.

The problem with this truck is everything is off the shelf parts that anyone can buy and build. Nothing is unique other than the badging and they stamped their name on the front bumper from another manufacturer’s bumper. Its a nice truck but not as special as a shelby f150 which has unique parts that only it offers.

A 5 Star tuned 3.5 Ecoboost is way quicker than that. I know bc I have one. Run the ethanol tune with an upgraded fuel pump and it’ll run mid 11s.
