It is definitely the first Venom movie and it's not even close. Do you know how bad the other movies have to be for me to say they can't even compare to a movie I also think is terrible? Sheesh.

This is going to be controversial, but Let There Be Carnage is my favorite. It's the shortest, most tightly paced, and has a few action sequences that I at least remember. It beats the rest by a thin margin, though. I think they are all bad.

I blame the first Venom being just enough fun and goofy to make people happy enough that it kept getting worse and worse because they knew they could write it lazy and get away with it. Venom 3 was complete trash. You're spot on with everything you said. Venom is better in comics, video games, and cartoons. Literally in everything but the movies. Great review Sully!

You could've EASILY replaced any of the new characters with a different actor, and it wouldn't have changed one thing about the movie. I love the Eddie-Venom dynamic, but I don't remember a damn thing about any of these films. There is NO chance this is the last one, either. Tom Hardy already said he's down for another Venom flick. Great stuff, as always, brother.

I had a decent time with the first one. I don't really even remember the second one. I suppose I'll check this one out at some point, but I'm in no hurry. Great video man.

We desperately needed that exposition pamphlet before the movie. And all of that talking led to almost nothing. Hot take: I think Tom Hardy is actually really bad in these movies. The whole time I was thinking "what is he doing?!". It is definitely a night and day difference from The Bikeriders.

I could not believe how little care they put into that plot point. Like the entire fate of the world is at stake, and Venom deems it worthy to show his true form to dance with Mrs. Chen in Las Vegas? Truly insane...

@@SullyStreams Exactly. Typically when they have one of these “doing something at the risk of being discovered” tropes it involves trying to save someone or being attacked and needing to use the thing that you need to hide. How many people died because Venom wanted to Dance with Mrs. Chen?

The highlight of the movie is family singing in the van and Mrs Chen looking good in Vegas lol. Everything else was trash. Knull was null. This movie was still better than Let There Be Carnage that movie was terrible on every level.

Fair review man. I personally thought it was just an okay film myself, i can see where you're coming from with your points you made! For me anyway all of these venom films are pretty much on par, but I think you can enjoy them if you just know what you're getting with them! I recommend checking out my review!

Wow lmao. Great Review, and while this thing is insanely FLAWED, and messy, and a bit sloppy especially during its first act - I still had a great time with it. The Eddie/Venom dynamic is def at its weakest here but there’s enough there to make it worth watching just for the duo alone. Loved the final act, but fair enough. My favorite Sony Verse film is tied between all three of these Venom films lmao
