They really are the best elements of both game's animations. Modern warfares crunchiness and 'tacticool-ness' (granted, these reloads are a lot less tacticool, whereas modern warfare's reloads dialed it up to 11 for 'cool factor') with cold war's super quick movements, and snappiness

I really do appreciate treyarchs work and their weapons of choice but rather I am also very disappointed since the black ops 6 weapons leaked list was about 45+ weapons and out of them treyarch only picked 33, even MW3 had 37 weapons and it was supposed to be a dlc for MW2. Hopefully season 1 of black ops 6 adds atleast 6 weapons to make up for this small amount of weaponry since I had expected alot of weapons especially shotguns,pistols,snipers,lmgs and marksman rifles.

These are some really good animations. What a step up from Treyarch’s previous games, particularly from Cold War. USP is by far my favorite. Model L and As Val are very close. There’s only a *few* animations that I’m a little iffy about, but they’re still pretty good. The team has gone above and beyond people’s expectations. I love how it’s a combo of MW19 and CW in terms of style, and they all released with full sets of animations. Not even MWII released with empty inspects. Congrats to Treyarch! (also, high praise for the sound team too. Treyarch doesn’t have the greatest track record for this, but these sound like real weapons. i love the Makarov’s slide sound).

Gotta love how with the Reloads REALLY Varies depending on the Mag ya go for, lighter mags just makes you drop em while grabbing another and sometimes using a bolt-release (if the gun has one), or using a different reload technique, same applies for Bigger mags in how it's clunky but in a good detailed way like with needing to get a better grip of a mag if you holding 2 in the same hand or giving the mag an extra tug or slap to make sure it's good, really nice when a shooter does that for their guns also kinda noticed with the AS VAL's Double-mag's 2nd Tact reload does the MW2/3 AK545/74U Tact reload, with 2nd reload doing the 74U's No-Stock reload, and with Bigger Mag the Tact reload is the one from the 7.62 version

The animations and weapon sounds are really well done compared to what 3arch has done in the past and I’m looking forward to what they’re gonna do next but firstly some guns you would expect for a game set in the 90s like the M9, M45A1, AUG, FAMAS, G3 or even a SIG P226 are not there and secondly some of the weapons models are very butchered with some inaccuracies in how they operate like how the USAS-12 doesn’t have a bolt hold open or the character inserts the magazine of that bulpup FAL straight in instead of rocking it in
@SuperPerry10002 ай бұрын
For what it's worth, supposedly some gun companies have gotten rather...stingy about official rep of their guns in games. Some have sued for BIG money. I guess they're trying to avoid any association with mass shootings or the like, considering the politicians always blame games for it. Which is odd 'cause I remember when Medal of Honour: Warfighter had actual firearm company promotions and sponsorships in it. Maybe it's just a copyright thing, as it tends to be.

Only 2 shotguns at launch is a crime
@thesquirtof87593 ай бұрын
i honestly don't mind that cuz in other games they'd have half a dozen shotguns at launch and only two really get used once the meta sets in. i'd rather they slowly work the meta out by adding new guns little by little that suits certain niche playstyles than sort them out through a bundled mess after the third or fourth season.

The way lighting interacts with most of the vegetation in this game and the two previous CoDs (same engine) looks so ugly it's unbelievable to me how no one is mentioning this when we're looking at the same engine for 2 full years already... Look at most of those trees, it looks so out of place as if there's a part of lighting that's completely missing... Especially when you can see that in the same scene some tree models are somewhat properly lit and have actual shadows. This IW9 engine sucks. Literally games from 2014 like Far Cry 4 had way better vegetation than this crap...

@Clutchupvandal Acting like hyper is the only cod animator that’s good. He’s the only cod animator most people know of just because he has a decent online presence. The raw talent at infinityward is absolutely amazing but the only reason you feel the need to say “I really like hypers animations I wish he was on this game” is so that you can show others or yourself that you’re knowledgeable about something, not because you want to make any legitimate point. It’s actually a good thing to let other animators shine especially because it gives the game a unique style. Whereas mw3 had the exact same style of animations as mw2 because it utilized the same animators like hyper and khoa le; except the animations had worse quality and details because of reused animations and being forced to work on crunch time. I’m definitely looking way too deep into your comment but yeah.
