Duct tape breaks down over time. You should use aluminum tape, or mastic.

Do you lose airflow if you vent to outside through an exterior wall vs. going through the roof? I would have a 14 foot run if I went straight up through the roof but it's going to be mounted on an exterior wall so I can just push it out if I use the short 90-degree elbow you show. I plan to get the 900 CFM fan system and I'd like not to diminish that if possible.

Over your right shoulder is a vent hood with a rectangular exhaust pipe on top. Where would I find one like that?

lmao must be nice to live in the world of new construction homes and millionaires who can afford to re-duct their entire homes every time the standard gets bigger.

Do the male ends of the round duct point toward the fan? Or away from it? Away, and air will flow better, toward, and the grease wont run on the outside of the pipe. (And dont ever use duct tape)

Need to use flex hose. The center of the hood has a stud.

You will have to make a header and jack studs to get pass that stud.

You know about ducting but nothing about recording a video. In order to eliminate that echo, you have to place a microphone closer to you, otherwise it will pick up the echo in the room.
