Missed tips (I eat rocks too, ROCK AND STONE!) : 1. Drill dash while borrowed halfs the cooldown (8 seconds down to 4) so it isn't that bad to use it especially when you need to rotate for a flank or escape. 2. Tectonic shock fully fills venture shield health on first activation (it has a cap that is filled a little under half by the use of either of their abilities). 3. The clobber passive while great only does the regular melee damage for burst with the rest coming from the extra drill animation meaning you have to aim the melee for the whole animation to get that full damage output and it cant be cancelled so dont use it willy nilly you silly billy. 4. Left click + drill dash + left click + melee is the bread and butter combo. Saving burrow as a getaway tool when going for deep dives is good to keep in mind but you can start the engagement with as well. 5. The new passive healing works really well with venture seeing they can be invulnerable for 95% of the time before it kicks in so don't worry about no supports. 6. Drill dash is very effective against tanks and tbh I can easily see venture being used in anti dive comps like brig. Also tectonic shock especially should affect ventures along with Earth shatter while borrowed. Its basic logic.

I'm not kidding, earth shatter should literally instakill Venture if theyre caught in it while underground, it makes no sense for them to be immune to an ability that compacts the earth it hits so tightly that it can knock over a guy who has control over gravity itself. That's not a buff or a nerf to Venture or the tin can battering ram its just another hero interaction and makes him a valid counterpick to Venture... complete immunity while having unrestricted movement is silly, so make it not as insanely stupid

In regards to healing: If you already have healing on you, you’ll continue getting healed. For instance, Zenyatta orb will stay on you. Auras will still heal too like Lucio and Brig (but not bap:/), but you won’t get Lucio’s beat or zen trans underground. Mercy’s beam if connected will act a thought it’s healing through a wall, meaning it will stay connected for a moment then break. Basically, Lucio, brig and zen are her preferred supports, zen specifically being really good as not only does he heal, but he shortens her kill combo, dash melee shoot melee, to just dash melee shoot

When I played them I thought they were honestly just right, but I do think that a small range buff would be helpful like you said. I think the temporary shields evens out the health. And it might be because I wasn’t good at using it, but perhaps their ultimate could be buffed a little too, maybe a slight damage or speed increase

Use your drill dash at the start of your burrow ability, its only half the cooldown when you do and if you fully charge the jump up youll already have it back when you resurface.

My only problem with ventures kit is her Ult, it feels a bit overtuned and doesn't have drawbacks for the sheer amount of damage it does, examples of this would be Dva, Reaper, Orisa, big damage ults but they force the character to give something to balance it, venture doesn't. So i think she can do without a little damage and range is all

I have around 4-5 hours on venture already and they're my favorite character, I play some doom first so it was almost like second nature, in those 4-5 hours of play with them I got at least 5-6 play of the games in total, in my opinion 9/10 character definitely going to main them loads, I just feel like their primary fire needs more range maybe 3-5 Meester boost nothing to broken

It can be used for both. They/them can be used for describing multiple people or if a person is non-binary. For callouts you can just say their name instead if you think the pronouns are confusing in communication. It's more clearer saying any of the heroes' names anyway.

Being nb is different for many different people so someone could be nb but still only use he him for venture though they only use they them and I don’t think callouts will be that much of a problem with my group we all use they them way before venture for all the characters because it’s as if we referred to the player not the character and even if it’s just one person they them is used for someone you don’t the gender or pronouns of
