Another fantastic FY production. I hope there is a forum for your genre of travel documentary, and if there is, I pray you receive highest honors for creativity, execution and content. You take me places I never knew existed, and help me realize the wordless magnificence of GOD's creation. Blessings to you and yours.

The Venture videos do us a great service: on the order of Jacques Cousteau's films of the 50's and on, but for a generation with a more limited attention span.

These truly are the best videos on KZbin. I always look forward to the next installment. I also look forward to the day when I am lucky enough to own a Fleming myself. While I realize the skill is all yours and not that of the camera, may I ask what camera(s) you do use? As an amateur photographer (primarily stills) I am always curious about gear.

...did see some great fossils in Pasagshak including one complete prehistoric fish, Keith's brother took it home with him to New York, probably not allowed but this was 40 years ago

Pretty brave, setting off across the Gulf with fresh, untested fuel. What fuel filtration system do you use?
@FlemingYachts Жыл бұрын
We have Twin Racors plus two in-series MAN filters. In 72,000 nm of cruising we have never experienced fuel problems. No bravery involved.

Great Video, but having lived in Kodiak for a number of years I never heard anyone refer to Kodiak as the Aleutians mate. Did you make a run down to Dutch and further west somewhere along the way ? My friend of Mrs Larsen witnessed the Katmai eruption of 1912. I did some work on her house in 1980 or thereabouts. old pics from the 1980s www.dutchpickle.com/alaska/kodiak-alaska-2.html

I'm not sure where you got the impression that I thought Kodiak was in the Aleutians. Of course I know that it is not. We went to Dutch Harbor and there is a video that describes the entire trip visiting Kodiak on the way out and back.

Mrs Larson was around 8 years old and the hired hand led her and her brother and sister walking hand in hand all the way over the mountains to Port Lions through the dust and ash whee they were later rescued by the US Navy if I remember the story correctly. Amazing woman pardon my lousy blogging skills www.dutchpickle.com/alaska/mrs-larsen-of-kodiak.html
