2 knockdowns equals a 4 point lead with 10 rounds remaining. If Ortiz won 7 of the last 10, it's a draw. In order for Virgil to win a decision, he had to win 8 of the remaining 10 rounds. I don't think Ortiz won 8 of the other 10 rounds. Therefore, I have Bohachuk winning.

This is surprising for me to read all these comments about Virgil losing this fight. It was a close fight for sure, especially with him having those two rounds where he was "knocked down" But to me, it was clear that Virgil was the better fighter. He landed the bigger punches and was on the verge of knocking him out a couple times. Credit to the Ukrainian boxer for hanging in there, and delivering a great fight to the fans.

Bro im reading these comments and im just like 😧🧐, all these guys saying Boha was robbed basically just say “2 knock downs and look at Vergils face!” That’s it… cuz of two slip knock downs, yet never did I see Vergil hurt, unlike Boha who basically was hurt every round, and getting out landed by Vergil every round. Even on the second “knockdown” Vergil was winning the round at the beginning, and finished the round making Boha look bad getting bullied the remainder of the round. I saw Vergil basically press and dictate every single round Boha relied on shellling up and only punching in between Vergils shots, never did he press the action never saw him control any of the rounds, and the the type of beating Boha took it won’t surprise me if he lost some chin after this. Cuz he took a sht ton of shots, he ate them he toughed them out but fights like this, fighters tend to lose a little bit of themselves after.

@@oscarguevara5556 If you have to exaggerate to make it look like Ortiz won, then you must know without the exaggeration that Ortiz really lost. You claim that Bohachuk was hurt in nearly every round. I saw him hurt once. You diminish the knockdowns by calling them slips, but it doesn't matter, both rounds were 10-8 on the score cards. The cards are what count, not if they were slips or solid shots. You say Bohachuk only punched between Vergil's shots, that's called a counter puncher, it's very common and can be very effective. Bohachuk came forward and punched first at times, he wasn't exclusively counter punching. The 2 rounds that were 10-8 means that Vergil had to win 7 of the remaining 10 for a draw, he had to win 8 of the remaining 10 to get the decision. I didn't see Ortiz win 8 of the other 10 rounds, therefore I have Bohachuk winning.

No, you're wrong, the way the Ukrainian guy covered himself to avoid being knocked out throughout the entire fight WORKS against him, he knows the knockout power of Vergil Ortiz, he looked like a turtle, when you cover a lot you are not effective in your punches, Ortiz landed" more punches than the Ukrainian guy, when i fought with someone better than me in amateur fights i covered myself too much, i hurt them, i threw power punches, and i survive the all fight, but in the end i always lost, because the judges saw that i covered myself to much, now do you understand what happened in this fight? To have power in the 154 pound division you got to start your pri boxing career ar that jr middle weight division at 154 pounds.Then you would be able to knock other pro boxers out.I use to box in the ymca club back in the 2000's and would of began at 154 or 160 after the amateurs which i would had to fight at least 75-100 bouts then go pro.That sport is hard because all the boxers i fought i swear thier punches felt like the hands had a scoop of rocks in a balled up fist 😂😂 that shit hard when i got connected on.I use to see stars like those cartoons when they get hit by a iron stick like tom and jerry cartoon 😂😂😂😂

Ortiz won the fight! His punching ; his style; hiscopponentvjust threw a bunch of punches hoping to land. Not a big fan of that style. Virgil is clearly the better boxer, and would pose a bigger threat to anyone as oppose to his opponent. When I heard there was a robbery ; cos of two knock downs, I was all in, hardcto lose a fight with two knockdowns, but if any fighter should lose alongside having two knockdowns; sorry to say. You notice; the directness of conversation about a robbery and Virgil loss is purely because the two k ockdowns, in which Virgil was not hurt with either one, but no one says Virgil just straight up got his ass kicked, because he didnt. He may have gotten tired, but was clearly the better fighter. I like the decision....
