So note on Xenogard: He scales to player level when he spawns. I had him drop on the edge of the volcano beach, when I was level 33 and the surrounding wild pals were levels 40+. Xenogarde was level 31 for me. My party had one fengelope I was leveling so it could be party average level??

I was lvl 50 along with all my pals on me and he still dropped at 33

i got my xenovadar from when a meteor fell. 5 of them spawned with some people (my world have extra spawns)

Croajiro’s pal ability is awesome. I keep him on me for it, plus my lucky one is pretty tanky and strong for such a small guy. On the oil rig at rank 4 he can shoot you all the way up to the top of the high pillar in the middle with one guy, his pal and a chest. Plus he’s my favorite design easy. I saw that ghost one in the thumbnail and was wondering wtf it was I need to go catch it.

Xenogard appear when I was fighting Jetragon. I was so surprise I let my guard down, and ended up losing to a low HP Jetragon and losing Xenogard as well since it reset when I died. >__

A little trick if you want to have a better chance for the outer space pals: The appearance of supply crates and meteors have a specific "cooldown" and you can change that in the world settings. So you could change it to 1 minute and then if you enter the world, every minute a crate or a meteor will drop from the sky

i dont know how true this is due to me not having the update but I have heard that if you want Xenoguard then you need to get a meteor in the desert endgame area. also yakumo could be the best pal for shiny hunting. if you get a shiny yakumo then it will be more likely that other pals with the lucky trait to spawn too.

there is alot of two oil nodes in the desert and the volcano but there is only one 3 node its west of astagon on the coast. but those are really slow so its better to do the oil rig that is east of the marsh island fast travel it can be seen from the shore (if your render is really short it might be hard to see) the enemies are all 55 and hit like a truck so go prepared. do note if you use a flying mount lasers will shoot at you and if you dont have jetragon you wont have the speed to out manuver them (still hard even then) you can use a swimming pal like serfent or jormuntide and you wont have any issues getting to the rig. you do want something that can do a lot of damage or re-spec for tons of attack. the gun turrets on the platform look scary but cant hit you on foot (it doesnt do much damage if it does) but it can hit your pals so no mounts. you can destroy the turrets and lasers with a console at their base, but they can respawn, so its only for getting to top of one tower that you cant climb (it has a random chest so really not worth it). the goal is a special very large chest that has specific spawns spots. they tend to be guarded by gattling gunners (syndicate crushers) do not let them start shooting try to kill them as fast as possible, they will stun lock and dps you down very quickly.

Note on Xenogard: Found one on Astral Mountain region. Cannot fly, but makes mining Crystals and Meteors better. Imo, a meh gimmick. But, it looks kinda goofy when it sprints. :D

I saw this too. No idea where the Pal is or if it was even released in this update. I tried to find a list of Pals that were dropped from official however nothing is listed saying "These are the list of Pals released in update 0.3.1

I was flying my nightwing in the volcano biome looking for dragon eggs then the meteor event triggered. I followed it and came across the xenogarde and decided to risk it, i had a couple of mega or giga spheres on me and threw one at it when its health got what i was hopeing low enough because if it got out, i was fone for but luck was on my side. I have the xenogarde at 28 but cant craft the saddle till 51. Its a damn good battle companion tho😂

Are you placing it on an oil node? Cause you can't place it just anywhere, you put them on black oil spots that you can find in higher level regions.
