Some things I want to point out: -Shooting the warpfire thrower's backpack canister causes it to explode and leave behind a pool of hot warp jizz >Blightstormers, when casting their storm, release a trail of magic that traces them back to their location (this is really inconsistent but it's nice to know)

My favorite is when your next to a cliff and a fire rat with no sound prompt spawns in a recess in the cliff and then pushes your party off with his warp jizz

Well Predicted.. Now you just have to figure out solution to deal with Gutter Runner in crowd.. Dodging obviously is good thing.. and any long range tools, that penetrate through the crowd.. and so on.. worth testing.. rotating around the crowd as well in one direction apart from exceptions where you have to stop and move temporarily other direction then back again.. a conflag staff or any AOE ability could be good for that.. and potentially stun him mid flight..In fact even saving a bomb for this eventuality might be way better idea.

I hope this helps people... I play grail knight mostly. And stormers are rage inducing bastards if your team can't deal with them. Especially if that swift bow waystalker is out of ammo 3 minutes in.

I fucking hate waystalkers, dude. That class is what draws idiots to play elf and it makes every other elf player look bad. I don't even like playing Shade/Handmaiden anymore because any time you make a tiny mistake, you know teammates get PTSD vietnam flashbacks to the trash waystalker they played with in their last lobby

@@MrCholoPants3415 On the other hand, a well played waystalker is worth their weight in gold. I don't even mind if it's a swiftbow. Just use that damn right mouse button or whatever the button on controler is that lets you aim ranged weapons.

@@MrCholoPants3415 As a waystalker main it's even more frustrating to see how badly some (most) players use it. Wasting hagbane on random enemies, always out of arrows, the useless hail of swiftbow arrows, wasting ulti on 3 stray rats, and horrible aim overall. I think it's the overall idea of the career that draws so many players, but it's a deceivingly complex one. A well played waystalker on the other hand rips apart anything. In ranged combat, and especially against specials, it's almost unmatched, while elf weapons are really good in melee combat.

Getting yeeted by warpfire thrower has actually saved me a few times. Given me a few chances to escape hook rats.

If you round a corner into a warp fire thrower, jumping may not be such a bad idea. You'll be propelled away from him, possibly out of his range, after which you can collect yourself and deal with him. It's called "damage surfing" in other games. I have played a lot of TF2, and damage surfing is very useful in that game against enemies like Heavies and sentry guns (minigun bullets), and Soldiers and Demos (explosives).

With assassin rats start looking around *immediately* after you hear them. Sometimes they will pounce you literally half a second after you hear their sound cue.

From the videos I've seen, Globadiers seem to be the special that can be the most readily put on the back burner, so to speak. If you're gradually repositioning, you can keep ahead of the gas clouds. Even exploit them to thin enemies. He's the one whose presence is most manageable. The one that can be ignored or played around, before eliminating him. At least, that's what many of the high level players I watch do. And, when you're dealing with the hordes of enemies and other specials, having one that can be put lower on the priority list is important.

Flagbearer also count as special, Ranger Veteran drops ammo pouch if you kill one ;)

One thing worth mentioning is that they do not count as man sized enemy so Shade or WHC instakill dont work on them. Anyways thanks for great content and have a nice day!

Standard Bearer has super armored like chaos warriors, you can give information about the banner and the pack of beastmen he comes with.... Not many people know what the banner really does: increase max HP and healing over time....

Ton of depth to this game. Even outside of the actual combat depth, there are a shit load of builds to make that all feel very different. Fatshark ruined this game and lost half of their playerbase due to their mismanagement, but the core of the game is still good.

Barkskin is great for getting stormed as well. You almost do not take dmg.

I think if you block the Fire rats spray with a grail knight it doesn't spawn groundfire. At least as far as I have seen. If it does it would've meant I overlooked it dozens of times, so I am pretty sure on that one. :D

Yeah it was either GK or his bretonian sword and shield nullifies fire, used it to soak up fire while the team lines up their shot (hopefully).

Yeah as GK I pull out my Bret SnS and just push right through the fire til I'm close enough to sheild swipe the bastard and kill him while he's staggered.
