This is really lovely of you to support them like this. They're great cans and the support will not only help the people making them, but also help them to make a Verum Two some day so we all win. I got my pair last summer already and I highly recommend them. Really enjoyable and engaging headphones that don't particularly shine on the technical side of things, but make you not care that they don't.

Totally agree with your view. These are simply great, not only for their price but in their own right. I've owned them for a year now and I'm still impressed today how good they are: clear, comfy, just a pleasure to use.

I got them right around the end of April this year and they sound magnificent. I had to be in the USA at around that time so I even saved a couple of bucks in shipping and duties by having it sent to the place I was staying rather than my home in The Netherlands. But for the sound that these produce, I would have gladly paid the extra 60 bucks, they are just so sweet-sounding. Thanks for the service, Danny.

Unfortunately one of the regional mail hubs close to where these are made was hit by a russian missile strike, murdering 6 postal workers and wounding 17. This may complicate logistics further, especially for non-critical deliveries as things like medicine and humanitarian aid take priority. Everyone, please continue to support Ukraine and lobbying your politicians to do the same. Thank you.

I got mine from GR about 22 months ago. They are phenomenal!!! -Every bit as good as my previous high end HE6 set ups!! Large drivers stage extremely well (like Magnapan wiith BASS) and accept EQ like a champ!! Believe it or not this equals my HE6 driven from a SPEAKER amp just off of my Mojo2!!! My current ICan Pro Signature is in the shop getting repaired.. Cant WAIT to try it on that beast when it comes back. These are the best $350 in audio right now!!! Thanks a bunch GR😂

My friend has the Verum 1 and they are an absolute steal at $350. For Danny to be able to sell them at that price, the makers are likely taking a loss. The headphones are far better than sets costing three times as much.

I got my Verum 1 shipment today from Danny. Everything he says in the video is 100% accurate. I got an email from GR Research on Thursday afternoon, called in on Friday to confirm the order, and the shipment arrived two days later. Packing was excellent and everything arrived safe and secure. Sound is great as mentioned below. Really hope the guys in Ukraine can hold on and Danny's large order helps them know they're appreciated....

Thanks for doing this! I ordered my Verum 1 directly in May, and it just got deliver this week - probably because of all yours orders draining the supply - just kidding! They ar truly amazing, and it is even better that it is for a good cause. And yes, the box was half destroyed when it got here (California), but the thick layer of bubble wrap did its protection magic. I have the black carbon look one, fantastic.

I'm thinking exactly like you. Other mines from Canada in January but move in Thailand before they where ready. Igor finally send me a pair in Thailand. I was very happy and communications with him was always great. Just be conscious they need couple of hours of breaking. And better the electronics better is the sound. I mean they are very revealing of the quality of your source and electronics.

Got mine a couple of months ago, they are jaw dropping good. That is the reaction I get from everyone that test them 😮. Im a speaker guy, and never liked headphones because of their lack of imaging and air-e-ness. These sound like speakers, and like really good ones too. I paired mine with a Monoprice 887, and a topping E50. So for about $600 all in, you get sonic bliss.

I was one of the people who asked to be put on the list the day that video dropped. I received it a few months ago and have been very thoroughly enjoying them since. Every bit as good as my Hifiman Edition XS but tonally different.

I have a Pre-War Pair took 6 months, I love them. A friend of mine bought some whilst the war time and got his pair in a shorter time than I did actually. Mine took 6 months, the leather strap is definitely a lower quality from my personal perspective, I asked the owner, he said its the thickness that sometimes changes but it is still real leather. I mistakenly thought my friend got fake leather as a replacement, but after asking the owner it seems I was wrong. Also considering its feeling, its real leather just quite uncommonly stiff, whilst mine is soft thick beautiful leather. Do not forget to get a good DAC, trust me on this, they make them sound a lot better as well as a 4.44mm Balance cable. I can only recommend ifi for your DAC's.

I received mine directly from Igor about a week ago. Yes, the box was pretty messed up and the cans were just in bubble wrap but they were in perfect condition and work as advertised. They did take almost four months to get here but well worth the wait. Definitely one of the best bargains out there for high end headphones.

I bought one directly after Danny's recommendation. I got my pair after 6 months. I had to pay in advance so I was a bit anxious. The phones sound great and very happy I had the patience. The cable was not of great quality and had it replaced. I can recommend these headphones.

I can imagine the wait is long...and patience is not.... ordered the Verum 1 in UA direct in February and finally got them in June, but got them and really happy with them !! They really do sound great ! I do recommend a 16 core silver plated cable upgrade (Amazon), it makes the bass a little tighter and the highs even more detailed, still not sharp, My combi is the Verum headphone with Eversolo DMP-A6 dac, connected to Schiit Audio Lyr+ with a 6SN7 Cossor tube as headphone amp. This way I can use the Verum headphone as a reference to what my speakers should sound like, so I change speaker placement and cables and tubes in my Willsenton R8 to compare and improve. This helped my audio journey to achieve a better speaker sound. In the end I prefer speakers, the soundstage and imaging of my current speakersetup can't be achieved by any headphone, but the insturment seperation of the Verum I can't achieve on my speakers.

Please, Danny, it's Ukraine, not "the Ukraine". It hasn't been called that since it was a part of the Soviet Union under Communist rule. It seems a bit of a slight to the Ukrainians who are currently suffering under the brutal assault of Putin's invasion to refer to their beloved republic by the old Russian-approved name. Look like great headphones. I'm not in the market at this time, but may very well be in the near future. Carry on.
