Same here, I also asked if he would check out my headphones because I felt like there was some weak contact, ended up just being my plugs, having a thicker base fixed it. I honestly also was offered a repair, I'd have to pay 40$ in shipping so that he could ship them back, that of course sucks, but I can definitely see how its necessary for him, since he is only one person.

I was wrong to criticize a bug detected in verum 1, I must rectify and with this writing I do. I believed that the connection problem was due to the poor production of the helmets, specifically the cups where the connection was lost. This is not so, the problem was due to the cable. I had to change the cable twice to be able to enjoy these wonderful headphones. I'm sorry for my mistake. However, of the two claims made, only one was attended to, the first. This doesn't seem right to me. All the best

I own them, they are fine headphones. And at $350 they are punching well above their weight keeping up with $1000 cans no problem. As far as distortion, every headphone has some. But at $350 I can't think of a single headphone that comes even close to these for overall sound. And build is fine especially at the $350 price point. You are making this way more dramatic than it needs to be and not keeping the price in mind.

I got mine originally from the Kickstarter. When I got it in and to this day, they remain the best headphones I own. The guy might not be man of the year but he makes a damn good headphone. With it being a hand made product from a single person, I cannot expect a level of quality assurance that I can expect from Sennheiser or Grado. I cannot expect a level of professionalism from the same person who does literally everything else. He should definitely be looking for improvement. Seeing many people out there in a professional environment doing things differently and I can see a person who does all that to also do everything else perfectly. These are my opinions and I've had to send my Verum One in for service and I see it is worth it.

Honestly, this is the problem with todays cancel culture. Who gives a flying you know what about what the maker of gear, and actor or whoever is like. It's the finished product and support of that product that matters be it a movie, music, headphones, whatever. Although I've no personal experience dealing with Ukrainians I do have friends who are Russian expats and have generally found that a certain level of casual racism is culturally ingrained. Given Ukraine borders Russia there will be some cultural crossover..... Sadly their military crossed over also but thats for another time......

Yeah, in some degree it can be a gamble to buy a Verum. Personnaly i got it a while back, and i can confirm, that you DONT need an amp to drive it. Obsiously if you use it with a proper amp/dac combo, it gives you even more. I have tried it with numerious amps, and never had any issues with it. 0 distortion. Everyone is blown away if i show them how they sound straight up from a PC motherboard. It is a gamble indeed but at that price, you can buy 3, and just keep the one that works, and you still got the best headphones at that pricepoint. I personally couldnt care less of Igor's personality. If a product is good, its good. If you buy a hand manufactured electronic from Ukraine, you know the risk...

I have a pair and really enjoy them, though I would never recommend them as ones only pair of headphones. However, I fear your criticisms of Igor and his paranoid, defensive and aggressive behaviour are entirely justified. An enormous shame given the remarkable accomplishment of bringing a new headphone to market all by himself. I hope very much he and his loved ones stay safe in the current appalling conflict but also hope he can turn things around with his company and properly rejoin a community which, initially at least, very much wanted to embrace him and his headphones.

Yes, I can concur with your assessment. One can enjoy the product but not endorse the company or person. It is a simple concept of mutual benefit. If we watch out for our shared rights as consumers (eg, not to be lied to, not to be threatened, not to be bullied or insulted by a company), then we can hold some power against people like Igor.

@NoThemeReviews
@NoThemeReviews 2 жыл бұрын
These were not my headphones. Someone loaned them to me for a review and I promptly returned them. I explained that in this video and the original review. Since August 2021, I gave Ignor multiple chances to change his behavior. I coached him about it-both over email and over numerous comments in the videos/posts he was ranting in. I warned him over and over again, repeatedly, since last year. This time I had enough. He made several misleading statements about his product, and his attitude clearly had not changed. I’m sorry, but once I give him opportunities over the course of 9 months, I can’t give him any more excuses. He chose to continue his nonsense irrespective of all I had told him. He chose that path despite the warnings I gave him-and the benefit of the doubt, which he in hindsight did not deserve. As I and others here have mentioned, there’s never a good time to address issues like these. Over the last two years millions have died from Covid, and nobody used that crippling situation as a basis to stop critiquing products or companies. Acts have repercussions. He was told. He can’t use the war as an excuse for why he shouldn’t be called out-especially since he made his most recent statements just yesterday.

Great video. One reason I respect you so much as a viewer is that you say what you think. There are a couple of other reviewers that I think do a pretty good job, but I sometimes get from their tone of voice that maybe they're having to make themselves say positive things about gear. I've tried several products you have recommended over the past few years. Some I've loved, some were okay, and there was probably one that I really did not like. Still, it would never occur to me to log on to this channel and blast you because I didn't like something you recommended. That being said, I don't imagine you would have been rude about me expressing my opinion if I told you I didn't like certain gear. Why anyone with two neurons to rub together would ever think that was acceptable is something that I guess I'm not wired to comprehend. Novel over. Keep making excellent videos.

Good afternoon, in your criticism of Igor I think you are right. In my opinion, as in yours, it is not admissible that if you have a company that exports to the whole world you behave like a neighborhood thug at the slightest annoyance. Denying the evidence only leaves the person who does it in a bad place, not the one who uncovers it. I have kept emails with Igor since I complained about a connection failure between the cable and the verum1 cups. He sent me another cable but it did not solve the problem. I don't think the problem is in the cable but in the cups, which makes the matter much more serious. A new cable does not have to give connection errors and if you change it it is very unlikely that the new one will give the same problem. Unfortunately I think that Igor is too big for his own company. As you say it is not a personal problem but a professional one. I have been left with a pair of 300-euro headphones that I cannot use and Igor does not solve the problem for me. Thanks.

I'm on two sides of the fence, he has said some pretty horrible stuff and his interactions with the userbase are less than stellar. On the other hand, a smalltime business trying to sell something which he had poured a lot of time into. Generally, I think a lot of people struggle to take criticism myself included and videos like this do not help that situation. This video says the same message over and over and I think this verges on antagonistic rather than a constructive breakdown. (I think that 6:30 to 20:00 is quite repetitive) My theory is that Igor didn't expect or was not prepared for serious reviews of his product. Some of which were quite good and others quite damming. I imagine being roasted by a number of people in a language which is clearly not his first will get to anyone. I can think of several run of the mill people creating something and then being overwhelmed by the community. Jason Russell creator of Invisible children for one. Then again, he has achieved something it's a Planar headset for not a lot of money being made out of (probably) a dude's shed. Some reviews compare them against things that cost magnitudes more. You mention interactions with other companies and for the most part, you are never talking to one person, usually a bot or someone with media or relations training. This is one person, you cannot expect the same level of communication. Some large companies have done some pretty horrible things (Looking at you Nestlé) yet still remain in the public eye. He has apologised for some of his behaviour which is commendable but doesn't really explain or fix anything. Is this comment constructive? Kind of, I hope that Igor is planning to do better and improve his practice however with the current war going on he has probably been called to fight and witnessed a lot of trauma in his city. Your interaction with him isn't very fair either, your language is confrontational and quite rude. " Yeah, pick and choose what suits you, yet again. Always the same bullshit from you. It’s not your fault. It’s someone else. It’s unit variation. It’s other equipment. Not you or your products fault, right? Maybe every schoolchild in Ukraine can calculate, but you clearly weren’t taught ethics or honesty. " You put that in the public space, you represent yourself here, it doesn't look good - at least in my eyes. At the end of the day, audio is subjective. It's a community that can be very friendly and quite toxic. I like Passion for Sound's review of the situation, one of the product and not the person.

I was abundantly fair with him for several months. If my tone was antagonistic, it’s because it was a direct response to his nonsense. Separating the company/owner from the product is one of the major reasons why Igor hasn’t learned a single lesson and won’t change his behavior or treatment with customers. Would you frequent an establishment if the proprietor made unambiguously racist, outright derogatory statements in public, and continually reacted as Igor has? You would be seriously okay with Yelp giving praise for the food of an establishment and not mention the negative treatment?
@Butters-xb5nh
@Butters-xb5nh 2 жыл бұрын
@@NoThemeReviews I understand that but companies are not directly comparable, it would be like comparing McDonald's to a small takeaway. Both make fast food yes, but you treat one differently. As for still going there? I mean most of us are happy to use Amazon's services despite them treating workers with outright hostility which is on mainstream news, yet people still use them and their services. Nestle are literally responsible for the deaths of children in third world countries yet people still buy their Ice cream at the beach. So In a wider sense I don't think that rhetoric really holds up. I can also think of a bunch of company Twitter slipups over the last few years in poor taste. As for Igor's racist statements, I can't defend them. I can only say he evidently has a lot of anger. Looking at other comments on these types of videos the people who have bought his headphones and liked them don't inherently regret their purchase. Quite a few people have had some quality issues but so have I from anything made on a small scale from one person. Deduce from that what you will. As I said before, I'm on both sides of the fence. I want a small business to succeed in a VERY competitive market. At the same time he is far from perfect.

@@Butters-xb5nh You're entitled to how you want to do business and with whom. But it's a bit unsettling that you'd be willing to cut extra slack for a small company, despite the egregious and repeated misconduct. Your Amazon and Nestle examples are well-taken. Don't use those companies if their treatment bothers you, and speak out against them to your heart's content. But this isn't a Twitter "slip up." Shamelessly and repeatedly using the N-word, disparaging black people for their intelligence, telling customers to die, and making contradictory statements about a product are not slip ups. You seem to think that just because large companies get away with their nonsense, smaller manufacturers should too. I don't think anyone should get away with this type of conduct--irrespective of size, brand, or nationality. We aren't dealing with a large corporation or even a small operation with several employees--all of who might be susceptible to making errant mistakes once in a while. Igor is it--nobody else to blame for his conscious disregard of others. How can you be on both sides of the fence? Either Igor has purposefully and repeatedly done egregious things--despite being warned by many in the community, despite knowing his own reputation is teetering--or he hasn't. The fact is uncontroverted--he indeed has done it, and continued to do it up until the day this video was uploaded. If you don't care because you like his headphones, then just say that. A few people have been honest about this, and at least it's an open admission. What's the fence sitting about?

@@Butters-xb5nh I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. All I said is that since his conduct is patently obvious and incontrovertible, there's no reason for being on both sides of the fence. If you don't find his conduct troubling enough, then say so. If you think his conduct is egregious, but you can excuse it because you like his product, then say that. If you think his conduct is serious and should be called out, then that's your third alternative. What is there to sit on the fence about? As for your concern about whether there are any alternatives to the Verum at its price...well...there we go. That's the problem, fundamentally. You may want something others say is amazing, and what are you willing to sacrifice for it? This headphone has been hyped like any other in the market--irrespective of its price. The numerous build issues, the failure rate of the drivers--despite Igor claiming they are few and far between--and the outrageous "warranty" and return policy don't make this as competitive as you might first imagine.

It was never appropriate for him to be racist and lie about his headphones. How many people has he defrauded? How many people bought his headphone, then were forced to keep them because of Igor's bully return policy? I read No Themes Reviews' comments to Igor about the war, and he clearly said he hopes Igor and his family are safe. But Igor DID choose to continue his behavior despite the war. He was promoting nonsense about his headphone yet again in the middle of a siege. This is the "be the bigger man" argument. As if turning the other cheek or walking away is what "bigger men" should do. I disagree. @@GadZookz I do not agree with you. The "wrong time" argument is at least as emotional. What objective reason can you or anyone else offer for this being the wrong time? The video has nothing to do with the war, makes zero impact on it, makes no comment supporting it, makes no statement contributing to harm through it. So what's the basis to say it's the wrong time? You and others think it's not the correct time because you wouldn't have done it. You have an emotional reaction, which is the only basis to say not now. And of all the people who have commented that the timing is bad, not a single one has offered WHEN the correct time would have been. What objective timeline can you provide as an alternative? This timing argument simply lacks depth. If this is to be taken seriously, then anyone who commits any social wrong should be excused because they volunteer or are drafted into service, or get caught in violence. When has that been a standard in the past? Who else can you think of who has been granted such unusual courtesy? As for whether Igor would use the war as avoidance...well...he did. On the basis of complete transparency (which I applaud No Themes Reviews for trying to uphold), let's get a few more facts down. First, Igor has a page on his website dedicated to why he made some of these statements. It is cringe-worthy to say the least. Here's an excerpt: "So when BLM protests took places in the USA and the vast majority of European countries, I must confess that all this looked for me comical. Especially when people that were never slave masters apologized and took a knee to people who were never slaves after police murdering recidivist criminal." In this webpage, Igor says there's no evidence of some other allegations against him, referring to homophobia, antisemitism, and the threats he made against Max Settings. He is widely acknowledged as having made statements to that effect on Discord. There were screenshots on Reddit, but those links are now dead. His vile commentary about others--regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion--are unacceptable. Igor claims on his website the he was sent threats on Discord for his comments (that he never made, according to him). He says: "Frankly speaking, for a single-man company who is writing my real home address as return address on boxes with headphones those threats caused some anxiety." Whether he received any such threats is up for debate. And, since he likes to play the "show me the evidence" game, we can too. He has not provided any evidence that he was being doxxed or threatened. For someone who constantly says people are making false accusations, he should know enough to take screenshots of the alleged abuse he suffered. Any company that has to issue an "explanation/apology" like this simply cannot be trusted or endorsed. I have run into Igor's supporters, and they either do not know his history or simply do not care. The former category can be shown Igor's misbehavior. The latter won't be swayed by any form of rational discourse. Either this latter group actually shares in Igor's disgusting beliefs, or are so smitten by a headphone (and have a unhealthy personal attachment to it) that they do not care they are endorsing a patent racist and overall awful company/proprietor. Disagree if you wish about the timing, as some of you have. But it was never good timing for Igor's racism. The harm he caused to others--the mental suffering he caused on Max Settings, who does have personal issues particularly susceptible to pressure and anxiety--is of grave concern. Igor finds a way to talk out of both sides of his mouth. He doesn't think he's wrong, says he is wrong but finds an excuse why not to hold him accountable, then turns himself into a victim. The War In Ukraine is an absolutely awful thing, and nobody here has championed it or defended it or said anything negative about the Ukrainian people. It begs explanation why a company's racism and outright deception can continue to be ignored, pushed aside, and open discussion be delayed any further. For those who are more concerned about the TIMING of this video, consider that there is never a good time to be insulted about your race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. Those are very personal, very intimate, aspects of one's being. Insults and slurs that hit upon those subjects are cutting, deeply offensive at least to the person who is the target, and perpetuate more hate and ill treatment. I think it is very strange--and frankly questionable--when people complain about the timing of this video, as if calling out Igor for his behavior is somehow showing support for war, or undermining efforts against the war. As No Themes Reviews said in this video, it's excuse after excuse after excuse. One thing after another. Keep delaying the confrontation, and you'll always find a reason to not have it. Sometimes you just need to confront people about very serious matters, especially such as this. If Igor's clearly inconsistent and deceitful dissemination of information regarding his headphone is not bad enough, his documented evidence of vile speech and bully tactics should be more than enough impetus for confronting him. Do not support someone like Igor. Do not support Igor's company. He put himself in this position.

I am one of those people who shared their views in relation to the timing of this video . A view that was divergent to the creator of the video. I have since deleted all related comments as I have been admittedly sucked into silly social media banter. A reason I usually do not bother sharing views on these kinds of platforms. As a result of simply saying that I do not agree with the timing of this video I have been directly and indirectly accused of the following: 1. I am trying to control NTR by simply sharing a divergent view. 2. I have been accused of supporting racists. 3. I have been told that my attitude is terrible. 4. I am apparently a hypocrite as well. 5. My view is shameful. 6. Some said I wish you did not even respond ( share a view) All these views are quite defensive and in some cases outright belligerent and quite controlling in their nature….. because I dare to say that I think the timing is not right. Sharing a view does not imply a sinister attempt to control others. It’s just a point of view for goodness sake. Like Igor clearly there are people here who need to grow the hell up. Someone even mentioned that rather than worrying about the timing we should be more concerned with racial and gender inclusiveness. What about also considering the inclusivity of other viewpoints as well! I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. I do have a problem though with rude, toxic accusations being pointed at those who simply choose to mention a different point of view in regards to timing. Thank goodness you don’t make headphones because if you did I would not certainly buy them from you :) I find the irony of this to be hilarious considering this is one of the points made against Igor which I believe to be correct of how poorly he responds to people who have a different view to his in relation to his headphones. I watch NTR because of the mainly objective views. I like the procurement type of approach taken. These views have saved me money in one way or another. I intend to continue to watch these videos but I am not going to pay for it ( other then watching a few ads in the process) and if I want share a view here and there , I will. If NTR wants to make more videos about Igor or similar good luck to him i am not interested in controlling his content.

I've seen other comments about how wrong the timing was, and it's not remotely as innocent as you perceive. Saying he's wrong for uploading content when he wants because you don't like the timing is a pretty ridiculous thing to argue. So, no, I don't actually accept your statements above. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't make sense. You delete comments you claim were polite. Hype. The strange thing is that the original version were not resoundingly received. Perhaps it was the idea of a one-man shop that swayed people, and perhaps it was the typical hype from those who like the headphones. People like Oluv and other reviewers to this day praise this headphone and give barely any acknowledgement to Igor's behavior. I think it's appalling how reviewers can separate the company from the product as if one has no bearing on the other. I saw that a German reviewer spoke about the Verum headphones a few months ago, and was confronted about the Igor issue. He didn't seem to care--it was not his problem. Nevertheless, he approved of and recommended the headphone. How can anyone conscientiously approve of reviewers who think like that?

But when I received them, they were in a flimsy box wrapped in a little bit of bubble wrap. Definitely not ideal for transporting. Thankfully they made it to the U.K. safely, but I can totally see how others might have been damaged in transit. I don't know if the packaging has improved since I got my pair, but that was my experience. I didn't have to return them, so can't comment on his returns policy, but, I definitely wouldn't recommend them to others now, mainly because of his general attitude and the way he has responded to genuine criticism. I'm certain pretty much everyone would agree that a murderer or a rapist should still be held accountable for their deeds while a small-time speeder shouldn't in face of the ongoing war. So who exactly defines what can be said and what can't regarding this video? In the end it's our subjective view and we shouldn't forget that. Therefore treat others who don't share your opinion the way you would want to be treated and rather discuss things instead of acting like you are the keeper of wisdom... Little advice for @No Theme Reviews: While it's true that most of us don't actively contribute to your channel you shouldn't forget that it's said people who actually watch your videos. As a matter of fact you are making your videos for exactly those people, right? So just because they don't agree with you and don't contribute doesn't mean their opinion is worthless. Show them the respect you talked about in your videos and think of it as a constructive input from your "fan base". Last but not least don't get me wrong: I'm no hater, just observed how you talked about important traits but somewhat fail to live up to them in the comments (happens to the best).

I suspect that if he thought the comments were worthless, he would have said that. Disagreeing with people who tell him things that he doesn't agree with is not showing disrespect. You seem to think that all comments should be given equal weight, or No Themes should abjectly accept them. Why? He has every right to say to you or anyone else he doesn't agree with what you're telling him, and that you have no right to tell him what he can and cannot do on his own channel. Why is that being disrespectful? Like...nowhere here has he made derogatory statements about people who've been critical of him. Defending his own position is now considered disrespectful? Somebody here said they are/were Patrons and were glad he didn't put the patron names on this video because he does not support it. I didn't realize this before I read that comment, but doesn't that show that No Themes made this video as his own opinion piece--like, it has nothing to do with patron support or whatever? It is his channel, just like Zeos or JV or anyone else. Documenting something that is important to him is as much a right as it is for anyone else, whether they have a channel or not. I also disagree with your position that he should create content for his fan base. That's chasing the wind. He should create content for what he believes in, one way or another. It's up to his fan base to decide whether they want to watch or not, agree or not. Your constructive input is not about video editing or length of content or what next to review. It's actually about censoring or limiting or shaming someone who has as much a right to express their opinion as you. I mentioned in an earlier comment here that this is simply hypocrisy. You're ready to scold No Themes for not demurely accepting criticism, when you yourselves haven't demurely accepted his criticism/opinion.

To everyone who keeps complaining about the timing of this video: you're all being very hypocritical. If you're so concerned about the timing of someone's reaction, then every single one of you will now have to ask a reviewer, or anyone else, what's going on in their lives, if there are any extenuating circumstances, before you lambast them, ridicule them, chastise them, or unsubscribe from their channel. I'm confident those of you who are complaining about timing here never took one moment to ask about timing when you unsubbed from a channel or got on the dump train on someone on Reddit or another forum. It is also clear that most of you saying the timing is off haven't actually thought about it from anyone else's perspective than your own. Having been given many chances to stop, and being told again in the posts before this video was uploaded, Igor still kept doing his nonsense. I mean, he was in a war zone then too, and still kept at it. You guys don't seem to consider that. And you also don't seem to consider that warnings have to transform into real action or they mean nothing. Actually...yes you do. You all know that to be the case, but in THIS case you are choosing not to. It's patently shameful for some of you to complain about the timing--while still agreeing with the content or the overall message--because you've never cared about timing before. You just want to care now. This will have absolutely no bearing on the war, and does absolutely nothing to harm Igor. But what about the harm he's caused to others over his racism, and the way he treated customers and STILL continues to? Hypocritical is what you all are. When this reviewer lambasted other companies, nobody whined about timing. Now that the war matters to you in one way or another, it should matter to everyone, and that should prevent people from speaking their minds? That argument will eventually come back to bite you later, and I hope you all get to experience it.
@jimgordon8376
@jimgordon8376 2 жыл бұрын
@@Joel-m777 Yes you have a right to your point of view as everyone else. But grinding away at timing as the basis for criticism is not remotely fair. You and I can agree on content, but you have the right to complain I shouldn't speak my mind when I want to? That's what the whole timing thing is. It's basically telling someone to keep quiet because others don't feel like it's the right time. The problem with that position is that it fundamentally undercuts your own points. If we have a right to speech as you say, then that includes a right to speak when we think it necessary or relevant or important. You don't think that's connected? How can you disassociate the right to speak from the time you get to speak? And if you can justify separating the two, then you're forcing others to adopt your strict code--and one that I'm skeptical you've or anyone else here has ever applied before or will apply again. What really bothers me about this type of argument is that I've seen it before. This is the type of rhetoric that was applied whenever a country was at war--Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. There's always a war, and there's always people saying you can't be critical of X or Y because we're at war. A mere glance through American history will show how often people were told to not confront something because it was not the right time--only to make things worse later. As for your comment about what Igor and I do, that's a pretty lame statement, and you know it. That man is an open racist, threatens people whenever he feels like it, clearly lies about his company and product, and has shown no actual remorse for the unambiguously offensive things he's done and said. You think telling you and others here that you're being hypocritical and shamefully duplicitous in your arguments as the same as Igor's vulgar actions? If that's the case, then you're as guilty of what you suggest I am. You just dress your words up a little nicer, but the implications are the same. Food for thought. You've made many comments here, and while you've always been respectful, you've also been pushing a view that you think should be agreed to. At some point don't you just have to follow your own advice and let others speak their mind?

Your timing on the release of this video, in which you call a headphone a "disaster" and mention the brutal invasion of his country a mere "crisis" is horrible. Your response to "Robbie's Incoherent" below that "we all have problems" is tone deaf at best. Igor's home city of Kharkov is today, right now, undergoing massive shelling. Just yesterday a synagogue was bombed there with 100 innocent civilians inside. Before some commenter assumes I am an Igor lackey or an NTR hater, you should know that mine is one of the names that flashes on NTR's donor lists at the start of each video. I see you did not start of this video with the list. For that I am grateful. Entirely aside from politics, human decency should guide us to pause any widely published criticism of an Individual whose life at this moment is likely in danger. This is especially true when there is no obvious reason why this video, which describes things that happened months ago, has to be released now.

It would have been horrible if I said I support the war, or have no concern for the Ukrainian people. That would have been awful. Was it right for Igor to make outright racist comments? Yes or no? He’s in a war zone, so all of that gets brushed aside for another day? Human decency would have been for him to not use the N word so flagrantly or to tell people he hopes they die. Calling him out for that is poor form because of a war I can’t control and I have no idea when it will end? How long do we brush this behavior down the line? Supporting the Ukrainian people doesn’t come at the cost of calling out someone like Igor. Both can be done without ill will or desire of harm to either. Otherwise, if your position is actionable, then nobody should have criticized anyone over the last two years.

@GG Rock I'm sorry, but I disagree with you. No Themes didn't make a political statement about the war since that wasn't the goal of the video. Whether you think it's tone deaf for him to say we all have problems is a personal matter for you. It just seems to me that you're uncomfortable with criticism given the war--and while I understand that, your position doesn't make sense in the long run. I agree with No Themes that if your argument holds water, then nobody should have been allowed to be critical of any product or company during the COVID pandemic. Millions of people are dead because of it, entire families are torn apart, people of all ages suffered from it--not too dissimilar from deaths in war. It's just unfair to ridicule an open statement about this guy's racism and hostile attitude because of a war. You're also twisting words for offense. I don't know why you think "crisis" is a lesser word than disaster. Frankly, No Themes used that term correctly, given the dictionary meaning of the word crisis. But you're splitting hairs as it doesn't matter one way or another. He's not defending the war or Putin or in any way I can tell supporting the destruction or killing of civilians. He's just calling out a racist who happens to be in a war zone. Maybe if the community banded together last year when the racism really hit the fan, we'd not be here. But we didn't. Racism persists when people find excuses to not deal with it. It's always an inconvenient time to directly challenge racist people and beliefs. Think about that. Instead of being upset at word usage (which, again, was properly used in this context), and taking offense to a video about a man's clear and documented racism, think about the people he's mentally and emotionally hurt over the years. We're talking about one man and his tendency to be vile, and you're conflating that with a war that nobody here is defending.

@@Joel-m777 When exactly is it a good time to confront a racist? GG's response here is that he's not happy that the video appeared when there's a war. Why? Ostensibly because people are suffering and dying, and Igor happens to be in that place. Okay...and? It's absurd to say that we can't bring this up--after a confrontation of this sort having been delayed for months, AND completely ignored by larger platforms. At some point we all need to just acknowledge that Igor made his choices. Having reviewed most of the information in the comments in the related posts and videos, I can say that No Themes Reviews did give Igor many chances. More than anyone really should have, to be perfectly honest. Where were you guys when Igor made those racist remarks? Where were you when reviewers did not openly and widely bring this up? Why didn't knock on the proverbial doors and demand this be aired because THEN it was the right time? Now that it happens, it's not the right time because of a war that nobody here controls, and nobody here endorses. Igor has used his position to humiliate, chastise, ridicule, and spew vile hate towards others. The only reason we don't see more of such comments any more from him is because he's been banned from forums. Yet, his misbehavior, his deceitful marketing and selling practices persist. How long are people to delay confrontation? Until the end of the war (hopefully which comes soon)? When will that be? And when it comes to an end, what's the next excuse? NOT then because now they have to rebuild and people are still suffering? Or that it's NOT the right time because it's too late and the subject should have been brought up earlier? Excuse after excuse. There is no good timing. There just is. And as others here have said, Igor made his decisions. He has to face consequences. Gracias.

He updated it a few days ago. Very interesting reading. I then today decided to check the comments section of this video. ..and sure enough I find this. The fact you are still so fiercely defending comments after all this time tells me you know at some level there is truth in this kind of feedback whether you admit it or not. You are not letting your video speak for itself at all because it doesn’t. Are you some wicked bad person… definitely not. Is Igor a challenged individual ? Yes Definitely ….he has more character holes than Swiss cheese. I hope one day you see this. ( relative truth of this feedback) and in the main the constructive nature of it. We all have development opportunities including myself and Igor has more than his fair share. Good luck to you ..

@@Joel-m777 Km defending my comments because I disagree with those who criticized me. If you think defending oneself against ridiculous allegations is proof that the allegations are true, then you clearly have a skewed perspective. Stop making excuses for Igor. The ear has nothing to do with his continual deception, lies, disgusting treatment of customers, or his racism. Nothing you or anyone else says will ever convince me that Igor should be given the benefit of the doubt, or that his conduct is excusable, or that my video was ill-timed. He deserved what he got, and a video from a small channel is really the smallest punishment he could have received. You’re free to turn your own cheek. Don’t expect me to do as you.

@@NoThemeReviewsIt’s interesting you see this as allegations. As one who has actually given this kind of feedback I certainly would not choose that particular word to describe my feedback. It appears you don’t like what you see as the implied judgment. What I believe is driving this feedback you are so fiercely defending against well at least mine but I suspect others are motivated the same way. Is indeed actually your judgement! of Igor. Yes you will say he deserves it because he is racist etc etc. but you sir are assuming he is exactly like you ( ironic isn’t it? and should do as you do! and assuming in the world there is one moral universal code that we all base ourselves from. I don’t how much you have seen of the world out side of your country but i can tell you first hand the playing field is vastly different. Once you dig underneath the surface it is quite astonishing but as I have already said I suspect you can also see this at some level but are more concerned with just defending yourself. That is the whole point, Igor is not you and has some shortcomings you can’t force someone to be like you. i.e. if Igor agreed to be interviewed by you and accepted your guidance you would not have made the video and yes the racist behaviours and toxic behaviour etc of the past would have all been forgiven. Who’s to say Igor won’t find his way without your guidance? Your video certainly is not helping him but rather damming him, and the timing just compounds it. Anyway at the end the day let’s hope the market decides the fate of Igor’s business. I personally think he will be ok he seems to have a loyal following despite his obvious flaws.

@@Joel-m777 Yup. I’m sure people will continue to purchase from him. More the curious why some are so concerned about my comments, since evidently his fans aren’t affected and he’ll continue business. And yes, I do damn him.

Hey man, how about you financially contribute to the channel before you start making demands? Who do you think is paying for all my gear , my time and my efforts? If your name isn’t on the check, I don’t think you have much to lecture me for.

@@NoThemeReviews your attitudes and response towards those who give you negative feedback look very similar to Verum's that towards those who give their headphones negative feedback.

@@NoThemeReviews Again, you take things too personally. Your channel name is NTR, not NTB. Is this rant/bashing paying for all your gear? BTW I don't know Verum guy, but your attitude is not a good one, asking money for making demands??? wtf?! I just comment on your video I have no demands. At first I really liked your videos, I was one of your first subscribers I wish you a good day and peace!
