Wish I was is good health and life dealt me a better hand. Would have loved to come and experience what you guys do in person. Word of warning to anyone that thinks they have been exposed to Lyme Disease. Insist on at least 45 day antibiotic treatment. It’s a matter of having a good life vs a life of misery. The US health system failed me, please don’t let them fail you. Knowledge is on our side with the internet, make full use of it even if people look at you like your crazy. It’s your life not theirs. Be safe everyone.

Hi, Suggestions: -do 'Cameos' Basically, you do a little custom video for someone. maybe they want to see a particular monkey or any monkey or something in particular and you personalise it to the person. -You could maybe strap a little camera on to a monkey (if it is safe) and it films from the monkey's point of view. -I would be interested to see Q&A about the volunteers and workers...their background, what made them volunteer/work there, what they love/dislike about it etc. -You could do monkey hand/foot prints with safe paints and sell these...either sell the originals or people can pay to print them out online. -I suppose you already have monkey sponsorships where people pay for a particular monkey or troop. -An online raffle and the winner gets custom videos, photos of their request

I'm so sorry she lost her tail, but happy to see her so spirited. I really hope this virus does not impact on your foundation too badly No matter what happens with humans, the vervets don't stop needing help. Because I live on a fixed income, I cannot afford a cash donation so I will continue to like your videos and watch the commercials.

I've seen in several of your videos that you record different aspects of the Monkey's behavior, etc. What do you do with this information? Do you share this information with foundation, zoos, etc?

Our notes are mostly for our own reference. For the babies, changes in behaviour, food consumption, sleep times, or stools, can often be early signs of illness, so it's important to keep notes so anyone can check when needed. We keep detailed baby notes for this reason, but we also keep behaviour notes during integrations or food monitoring notes for sick monkeys. These have often been used by our volunteers for college assignments or projects, but we don't officially pass our records to anyone.

Vervet Monkey Foundation to be fair memberships are pretty new to me too, some channels star for as little as £1.99 per month, they offer bonus content. Memberships would benefit the sanctuary, as many people who can’t afford huge patron subscriptions could jump to a tiered figure. Many small payments may well add up to significant contributions.

That I can tell, No one’s ever explained what/who the bandits are. After watching just about all of your videos I’ve figured out they’re random monkeys who’ve claimed the space outside of the troop enclosures but inside the property. Yes?

Rocio (female) got bitten during one of the attempts to pair her up with an older male named Eddie. We have tried with 3 different males now but unfortunately her time being kept as a pet has left her with permanent behaviour issues and she does not know how to socialise properly with other monkeys. We will keep trying though. Quinn is being assessed to see if he can be integrated into the troop so he will remain on his own for now as this is the only way they can be integrated. We've almost lost all our volunteers now and are down to just the core staff team. Your support is much appreciated, thank you!
