Wish I seen this prior to installing my leveling kit. I had to take off sway bar link, upper control arm bolt, tie rod end lol! Great video

It literally took me 21 minutes to change the strut. This was a repair I actually enjoyed. Let me know if you trouble.

I have a 2017 Titan, do you know if this is basically the same instructions for replacing the shocks/strut assembly on my year model? I would love to not mess with the control arm and everything else... Love the video, thanks!

This video is valid thru 2012 I believe. I wish I could tell you it’s the same for 2017 but I haven’t had the pleasure of working on that year.

Ok, got it. Thank you very much for the quick response!

Is this the same process for replacing the rears?
@TallFamilyFilms Жыл бұрын
No but the rear is even easier. Here’s one I did on an Acura but it’s almost identical to the Titan. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWqwi6evpaxrbM0

How would you know whether the shock/strut needs to be replaced? Clunky Ride, suspension chirp sounds?

@@USFmarine hard hits over bumps. Ones you can “feel” not just hear. But motor mounts also can be a suspect in that situation FYI

Which Monroe's did you decide to go with? Roadmatic or Quick Strut? How do these ride compared to the Nissan OEMs?

I’m pretty certain I used a moog st8605. It rides the same as OEM.
