Thank you so much! I kept going wrong somehow with the magic circle, but after watching your video, I finally understood it! I'm now a few rounds in to making a small blanket. :) This video was really helpful, and the perfect pace! I am definitely someone who learns by watching the same thing over and over again, so this was ideal. It's refreshing to see this, because a lot of other videos just show a pattern once and assume that you'll know how to do it every successive time! Thanks again for your effort in making these brilliant videos for first-time crocheters - it makes the whole process a lot less daunting.

I have tried for years to learn crochet as it always seemed quicker than knitting (which I can do). Various people have tried to show me but alas to no avail!! I thought I know KZbin!!! So the first tutorial I watched was just doing 1 granny square, which looked so simple & I got it too. Then I saw the joining squares & that looked a bit more advanced & scary lol. Then while scrolling down the list of tutorials I saw this one. What can I say except THANK YOU so very much. I'm leaving this tutorial - after subscribing of course - & heading over to EBay to check out crochet stuff. This is just what I need right now ask am laid up in bed because of lower back pain.

Brilliant, I was looking for days for something to with all this left-over yarn that has accumulated over years. Then I found your video, WoolyWonderCrochet :-). Totally forgot about the good old easy Granny Square :-). The only difference from the way I was taught it decades ago is that your version is a lot easier. Already made two baby blankets today and now starting on smaller squares to make a lush Patchwork one for Chic-flic evening in front of the telly next winter :-). Thanks, WoolyWonder :-)
