I hope I don't embarrass you both, but I think you are such a beautiful couple. Thank you for wanting to hear the music of my times.

Check out "higher love" a song he did with Chaka Khan. Steve started with the Spencer Davis group when he was very young around 16 or 17. Thanks for reacting to this. Love you guys.

His early hits with Traffic are great too. Even the Blues Brothers did a couple of his songs.

Steve is a top tier singer one of the best. He was sooooo good he was either in Blind Faith or Traffic late 60s at age 14. Many good songs love his voice.

This British artist started his career way back in 1966 with "The Spencer Davis Group" at age 17. His mom and dad were reluctant to let him join this Band of guys in their mid 20s. When they told his folks the amount of money their young son would be making, they gave their Blessing, and sent him on his way. This boy turned out to be one of the greatest soul singers and musicians in Rock and R7B history. His name is "Steve Winwood. Many thought he was Black, because of his voice and his soul. One of the greatest ever.

Another POV is the cinematic cameraman Black and White offers a different perspective, however, the subject matter is stunning also When I think of another B & W music video Paul Whitman, WB Rhapsody in Blue gives Steves video a strong visual run

Steve Winwood was a teen when he came on the scene with his high powered soulful voice. He was Stevie Winwood when he was young. His talent spans four decades. Check out the hits he's had with all groups he's been in. Too much to name.

This reminds me of North Philly in the seventies. Same atmosphere. A side basement entrance to an end row house. Celler wall knocked thru to the adjoining house for room. No A/C but a Juke box or live music. Mom cookin' in the kitchen, cash bar, dance all night till sun-up. Illegal as hell but nobody bothered them 'cuz y'd never know what important person was partying there.

Steve Winwood has a number of inspiring hits that you may want to hear. The 2 that esp. come to mind: "Back in the High Life (Again)" & "Higher Love" These songs can help in difficult times a bit, providing inspiration, comfort & hope. Another song NOT by this artist is a song called: "Ooh Child" - covered in the 80s by Dino (with 80s flare) There is an earlier version of this song that is just as good but given in a slightly different style. (I'm sorry I don't remember who that was as I was of the 80s teen generation.) The 80s version has a little more uplifting energy with it, while the earlier 60s? version has a more slow, comforting feel to it. You would like both versions I think.

Just to clarify the title a bit more - if you fall from a height (hopefully it doesn't happen but just in case) if you just fall & hope to land on your feet by doing nothing to deal with this new circumstance, you likely will break your legs. If however, when you fall, as you go to hit the ground you DON'T try to stiffen up & fight the situation, but let your feet touch & let your legs BEND INTO A ROLL - you will take that HUGE pressure off of your feet & at the end of the roll, your feet & legs will likely turn out just fine. You just have to ADJUST to face your bad circumstances, (rather than try to stand and fight a force greater than yourself) & you will come out in a different position/setting maybe, but you will come out fine. - "Just roll with it, baby."
