It's brass or bronze, not gold!!! 😋 Wonderful restoration, congratulations!!! There are some people here in the comments claiming that's a "fake restoration", but it's NOT fake, you can clearly see that the rust infiltrated and corroded the padlock's metal sheets for several decades!!! 😊😊

Не поверите, но кадры с обмотанным проволокой замком вызвали у меня хохот! В соседнем городе несколько лет назад жил колдун,считай мошенник, который привораживал таким образом несчастных любовников, предлагая им за большую плату выйти на мост, произнести заговор,замкнуть замок, замотать проволокой и бросить в речку, которая там есть.Сколько несчастных велось на эту аферу, сколько он заработал на этом! Маразм и аферизм вечны!и моя знакомая была участницей подобного действия, от нее я это и узнала.
