Jerd, try sneaking into Turtle Rock from one of the outside ledges on Death Mountain. You normally can't, but you can here because of the reverse Mirror. Also, you can visit Misery Mire now that you have Ether.

If i am remembering right. Its a reference to a speedrunner named andy that skipped that check. He was on a very fast pace but needed the Ether medalion to enter a dungeon (Can't remember which) and spent a loooooong time trying to find it when it was in that cave the entire time.

Yes! The first time I played inverted it was an ah-ha! moment when I realized that you can use the mirror on the other ledges to get into the later sections of Turtle Rock and actually complete the dungeon backwards.

In inverted, you can drop to the one of the ledges on the east side of Death Mountain in Light World, and then use the mirror to warp to one of Turtle Rock's entrances from Dark Death Mountain.

So the guy in the forest hideout at 12:01 is making a joke at Andy's expense - a long time ago, in the early days of Rando racing, Andy lost a tournament or something because he never got the Ether Medallion from this specific spot. The duder's text is one of those permanent reminders of that event. The guaranteed hints are for the Green Medallion (from Sahasralah), the two "Red" crystals (from the Bomb Shop dude), the location of the Silver Arrows (from Ganon 4 if you don't have them yet), and the contents of the two tablets and the Pedestal (requiring the Book of Mudora). Note that if you have the Master Sword or better already, you cannot *check* the tablets, you just get the item instead.

You should check the cave where that other old sage guy is, you passed it leaving the desert. Also, the downstairs area East of the desert dungeon. Also, the rock cluster at 15:27, pretty sure there are treasure chests in there.

Yes, he is missing pulling the frog tongue north of the flying tile room. Its a japan frog thing 🐸. There are a bunch of the frog tongue pulls in Skyward Sword too, mostly in the fire temple and in the water temple.

After watching these videos I have also done the inverted run, and when it came to Turtle Rock, it locked me out of the big Key so I couldn't get the chest or unlock the door to continue with the rest of the dungeon. Also there was a few dungeons I couldn't finish due to the randomizer boss option & the hook shoot was the item I needed which turns out was in the dark world chest game.

I started a randomizer last night. The fire rod, Ice rod, lantern and bug net were in Ganon's tower. If I didn't set it to only needing 2 crystals it would have been a failed run. Its also a randomized enemy run. So Misery Mire is completely locked because I can't kill spike blocks.

Had to look at the spoiler for Misery Mire to find out if I even needed to complete it because not being able to kill some enemies like the spike block, big spike block, rolling spike bar etc it permanently locked the whole dungeon for me.

I remember I thought one of my runs was impossible because of a very inconveniently placed big spike block in Palace of Darkness. It was right on the 2 block long breakable pathway and I was set to 100% dungeon completion.

I wanna be upset at Jared for not figuring out what he needs to do next, but this took me a little while to figure out too, as much as I hate to admit it. So I can't be mad. It's not really obvious even if you played the original game. You just have to sorta think about how different the mechanics are having the light and dark world reversed. For those that don't know, he needs to go to light world, jump down the right side of the mountain on the ledges and then mirror to the dark world so he's on the ledges lower in the dungeon. He should probably go down the middle that comes out right at the four chests and then work his way backward toward the beginning (as the room after that key hole has another key, and the room beyond that has a chest in it.)

You could just beat Ganon without the Silver Arrows. There's a few frames of time as he teleports where a sword spin will actually damage him (and not just stun him as usual). As long as you have enough magic to keep the torches up (and with a glitch you can make it so you just have to maintain one torch) it's not too tough, especially since you have the butter sword. Also Inverted Turtle Rock has backdoors you don't usually get in the normal game due to the inverted mirror.

No, it's a inverted randomizer, meaning he can warp back to the Dark World from the Light World, but not the other way around like usual. What needs to happen is that he has to fall down to the cave ledges nearby in the Light World, use the mirror, and enter Turtle Rock that way.
